I agree with you for the most part. I'd never listen to a Bon Jovi song except this one, live with Richie Sambora. Also saw Collective Soul a number of years ago. Fantastic concert.

Songs that create a disconnect, the band is killer but the lyrics are childish. Not being able to write coherent lyrics eventually killed Scott Weiland.

Like Elton John, The Cult should have hired a lyricist. Ian Astbury is a fine singer but his lyrics are far beyond insipid. A shame since this is some of Billy Duffy's best guitar work.
Edie Segdwick was Andy Warhol's muse. She didn't have any talent with her acting career failing. She was incredibly gorgeous and she lived fast and hard, the combination of alcohol and prescription drugs did her in. (1943 - 1971)

Ear cancer. I must be getting old because after a lifetime hatred for the Stones, barring a few really good songs, I am starting to kind of like them. Well at least a few of their songs. 19th nervous break down. Jumpin Jack Flash being a couple.
I can't see how that's possible. Unless you're strictly a fan of Drake, Bieber, Weeknd, Rap Hip hop and dislike Rock & Roll in general.
