Definitely. Although Satisfaction was released in 1965, so I don't know how early you want to go. Anyway to me it is a monotonous dirge.

I thought the first Stones album kicked ass. Not one original on there if I am correct. They were a cover band riding on the coat tails of Chuck Berry and the like. The anti Beatles. In fact it was the Beatles who wrote I wanna be your man for them. Giving them their first hit.
Their second album had this dirty distorted sound to it which went on for years.

as an opinion only. If you want to argue best Canadian bands Nickleback 50 million sales compared to the Hips 6-8 million. Also more charted songs favour Nickleback. Sorry not sorry
