I love Pass the Dutchie.

I hate Bon Jovi, music to suck cock to. They were the product of saturation marketing, hyped as bigger than The Beatles to Gen X. Frank Zappa wrote 300 Motels, Bon Jovi wrote 300 Cliches. The worst part, Bon Jovi are in the Rock HOF and Jethro Tull aren't. At least Bon Jovi bought his lip gloss with him when he waited in Howard Stern's limo.

I'll spare myself the imminent rage and play Collective Soul instead.

I listen to nearly every genre right down to classical music but I cannot stand the sounds of country music and all other variations of it. I find it boring and/or annoying but that’s just me. No hate to anyone that enjoys it though.

Music touches us all differently. Never understood people that dislike others simply for their taste in music.

I agree that today's Country music is awful. However, I go back to the 50s, 60s, when country music was among my favourite genre especially by a lot of not so called country stars. Don Williams, Guy Clarke, Allison Krauss, Rodney Crowell, Townes Van Zandt, Canadians Ian Tyson, David Wiffin, Gene McKellen who wrote Snowbird for Anne Murray and so many more.

Long standing pet peeve - the Star Spangled Banner. It's an impossible vocal range for a lot of people and lyrics are increasingly off message as to what the USA should stand for. I'm not the only one who has pointed this out. Entirely different vibe when I hear it now vs. when I was a kid...

I like classic Country but this song makes me retch.
The audience clapping along makes it even worse.

Commercial jingles..."one eight seven seven kars for kids..." (despite the good cause)
Or
"Four three five pup pup pup a pizza nova" makes me want to steer the vehicle right into an abutment.

I think we all feel the same way about this song ...
Polaris is being sarcastic, the Stern song is a brilliant spoof of corporate culture. That's what pop songs have become these days, the suits have decided that melody is no longer needed to manufacture a hit. Most of today's songs are insipid, saccharine and at their worst insufferable. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Justin Boober are weapons of musical destruction.

These songs are bordering on suicide inducing, this is the worst.
