That being said, I would not be shocked if the "People's Party" joined forces with the Conservatives...But I doubt PP would want them...While the People's Party does have some support, it likely wouldn't be enough to move the needle to give the Cons enough votes one way or the other...

This guy's polling and theory as to why the polls are the way they are makes far more sense to me. Essentially it boils down to the NDP self immolating, which makes much more sense to me.

If the election is about Trump, liberals win. If the election is about the past decade of liberal bullshit that put us into such a weak position that Trump is able to do the things he has, conservatives win.

The PPC got 5% of the vote in the 2021 election. I do think about half of their support has come back to the CPC, including myself. But at 2.5% that is still about 450K-500K votes that the CPC could use.

One big issue for women, and many men like me, is PP's stance on abortion.

He has defined himself as pro-choice but voted 5 times in the past against abortion related laws or motions.

If elected, PP will spin and become a 'pro-life' and ban abortion. He won't get my vote because of that.
