I heard that the PK / Price post-win celebration has been banned. Sounds like fun times in Habs-land.

The ban on the celebration is a bit much but that is why they signed PK to the 2 years only. There's something about him that they don't like in the dressing room I've heard. It's a put up or get lost contract IMHO. As it should be!

PK has a big personality and he loves the limelight. As a rookie it didn't earn him any respect around the league and within his own team. His not signing right away brought back the PK circus into Habs land. No one player can be bigger than the team, even if he's a superstar. Crosby isn't bigger than his team, nor is Stamkos, they are reserved and team first guys because it's a team game. PK doesn't get that.

The NHL is full of guys with no personality, who all spew the same sound bites. Crosby and Stamkos are reserved because they have no personality!!! What's lacking is the flash and exuberance that players like PK and Ovi provide. More players like them would attract more viewers to the sport.

Let's not compare PK to Avery.

Avery is a whole different kettle of fish altogether.

My feeling is that we are going to see a new and improved Subban this year.

More of a team first kind of player.

Even if you hate him you have to admit he has all the necessary skills to be a top notch player in this league.

I would like to see Montreal maintain this sort of bargaining with their players.

Personally I tune in to watch these guys play hockey, not listen to their sound bites or act like idiots everytime they do something. Guys who have tremendous skill and act like what they did is nothing are guys worth watching. Not circus side show performers.
