As far as myself, I, a self admitted nitpicker, simply pointed out that his twice stated assertion that the WHL merged with the NHL was patently wrong. Did I err? I also predicted that he would not admit his assertion was incorrect. Again, I was correct. The fact that he stated it twice, proves that it was not simply a typo. Why do you have a problem with the content of my post? I was 100% correct on all accounts.
Feel free to show that he was correct.

This guy is unbelievably obsessive. I said in post 23 that I meant WHA. It should be obvious to any intelligent reader that I meant WHA and not WHL when read in the context of the merger.
I see typos/misspellings/minor factual mistakes on a fairly routine basis here but I'm smart enough, as are most members, to know what the poster meant and don't make a big or small deal of it. Sometimes, I discreetly advise the poster of the typo/misspelling/factual error.
One typo/misspelling I see often is "Makita" and "Anderson" instead of Mikita and Andersen.
Nitpicking is a character flaw. Nobody else here is going apeshit over WHL instead of WHA because they know that WHA was the intent.

I agree that I don't think the US government will end up doing anything, but there's still a ton to be sorted out and it's going to be hard to appease everyone. I think your going to see more law suites coming.

The vast majority of hockey leagues are called leagues, so a hockey league is normally call a league. Only a fool would think I meant the NHL merged with a junior hockey league. Anyway, I clarified that I meant WHA in post 23, which was already obvious to any intelligent reader. Let's not get anal retentive about whether a league is call a league or very rarely an association.
