Fine, so who are the "those farkers" you are so "pissed off" with and know "how to deal with"?
Lanc's has a love hate relationship with Latvian dwarfs. They are either to small or very small.

It's strange they don't give out any details who that psycho was? Could it be a muslim? I mean i'm not being racist but thats their kind of way of punishment.

Vince Weiguang Li doesn’t sound much like an Islamic name to me. Certainly Muslims do more than their fair share of violence all over the world, it’s best not to jump to conclusions.

How tragic.

Security measures at bus terminals should correspond to the ones that are in place at airports.... (sorry not sure how to say this in English)

I do not agree sorry... There were a number of incidents recently on the TTC and they have added more security to the system. If it makes people feel more safe...
I think that I actually took that busy route years ago. You do realize that buses like that pick up people at “flag stops”, throughout their route. What you do propose? Having metal detectors at every small town store that acts as a flag stop? The cost would definitely drive people into cars and thus make such attacks impossible (and increase greenhouse gasses). However, given that the attack could just as well have happened in a Tim Horton’s do you also think there should also be such security measures at the entrance to every donut shop?

My thoughts exactly. Maybe they should have metal detectors and security every 25m along the route and a swat team member in every second seat. That would stop most events like this (unless the SWAT members have PTSD and go crazy from boredom)

He would have to be even more insane to attack someone in a
Tim Hortons. Consider the number of policemen sitting there.

I'm pretty surprised and a tad disappointed that no one intervened. You look at the those big hick-looking dudes being interviewed afterwards and you'd think they could have made a difference had they collectively rushed the guy. And the slasher doesn't seem all that that imposing, minus the knife of course...

Perhaps. Maybe if it involved hockey or Tim Hortons, those "spectators" on the bus would've done someone other than running for the exit.

Fuck Off.-lol

Armchair quarterback.

You probably would have pissed your thong and screamed like a bitch as you ran off the bus hiding behind the women and children.

Knife

If the guy had the kind of knife that I believe he had, then you would be better off getting out of there. It was a large hunting knife and some I've seen are razor sharp and big. All it takes is one slash in the right area and you are toast because they can do alot of damage in an instant.
One witness said it best, he thought of helping out but the guy he asked to help took off and he quickly noticed the victim stopped yelling so he knew it was too late to do anything.

I had thought about this possibility, but it would not be easy. You do realize that given how narrow the walkway is on Greyhound buses, a bunch of guys rushing him, is still one guy at a time. Until the killer kills the first guy, the second guy can’t rush him. As far as the first guy is concerned, his is facing someone with a long knife along a narrow isle. He has no way to manoeuvre around the guy with the knife or do anything but rush straight into the knife. If this ever happens when we are both on a Greyhound, I'll let you be the first guy. Maybe his Knife will get caught in your rib cage, allowing me to get him. However, if the knife does not get caught in your rib cage. I'm out the door.

First off, the guy he stabbed was dead in about 10 seconds.

It takes time to come up with a plan of action. You don't go from dozing on a bus to being Rambo in 10 seconds.

Second off, exactly how are you supposed to intervene? The guy is in a blood lust, he's basically swinging a sword, covered in blood, slippery, and you're going to do what? Get killed yourself?

Maybe if you were packing heat, you might have a chance, but that's about it.

So what is an "Islamic" name to you? Does "James Yee" not sound like an "Islamic" name to you either?

Not all muslims are of mid-east decent. The largest muslim country in the world is in Asia.
