Happy to see Ovi break the record - he is more dominant than Gretzky in his era. Look at the top 20 goals scorers. Many born in the 60s benefitted from expansion era. Ovi is 310 goals ahead of Stamkos. 272 ahead of Crosby. It's not even close. He is miles ahead. If it was not for Covid he would have 900 already.
Only 4 active players have 500 goals, Ovi is head and shoulders ahead. I think if Mario was healthy he would have set the record, same with Bossy.
But what he is doing is special, he would be second in the league if it were not for the 16 game absence this season.
