This one's for you, Goob - since you've commented on this a number of times in recent threads, I thought I'd deal with it in here where people don't have to be subjected to it if they don't want.
Just because a team outgoaltends its opponent, doesn't mean the team, as a whole, outplayed them. Hextall won the Conn Smythe trophy when his team LOST the Finals. I'd guess that Roberto Luongo outplayed his counterpart in most games this year, but that didn't stop the Panthers from losing most of them.
Goaltending is just a part of hockey. It's a big part, but just a part.
You'd think this was obvious, but I guess your powers of reasoning are pretty muddy.
