Not happy with terb account settings

So someone please tell me how to shut off the function that allows terb to send me emails. Like how fucking ridiculous...and surprising was it for me to check my personal emails and see one from terb in my inbox. Given so's from time to time check these things....it's just plain bad! Is there an easy way to stop this from happening...a setting or something. Smarten up terb at no point did I ask for emails from this site.

Edit. I believed I had minimized any settings that could be to reduce the chance of emails coming to my Gmail account.

This does not address your major issue, but with Hotmail and Gmail and yahoo mail etc... get an anonymous account!

Go to your Inbox, then on the left side of the page under "My Settings", click on General Settings. Set the appropriate settings under "Messaging & Notification".

I checked under settings. The notification I got was that my inbox was 90pct full. First time ever that I've had an email. I did not see a specific setting to stop this. I do not have any email allowance on. Fuck.

I did NOT opt to receive anything from terb. I did however provide them with my email fornverification. There is a fucking difference.

Dude, it's a secured Gmail account. Sometimes I don't log out. If prying eyes got in to that account OR an anonymous one its game over. You might have a tougher time explaining why you have an anonymous account FUCKTard!

Was my first one in nearly two years. That's why so surprising. I got a pm from a member. I guess that pm put me close to my ridiculously low pm limit. That's what triggered the notification from terb.

Spoken by a bunch of computer jerk offs. Grow a nut...I'm certain others have bad this happen as well. Given the nature of this site...maybe the developers should have an opt in/out toggle for notifications at the onset. My settings do NOT appear to accept notifications except for PM's.

first off, you should not have used your personal account to register, second, you should not have agreed to receive emails , third, everyone here should show a bit of respect to other users. I could go on but I think you get the message.
