For those of you owns a burner phone to book sp's, how do you keep it discreet away from SO or wife?

When do you use and how do you use burner phone to book sp and keep it discreet away from SO or wif?

how do you browse and keep track easily which sp's you want to see if you have separate burner phone you don't want wife or SO to find out?

okay... I am more convince to get a burner phone now. But still need to come up with strategy to use it discreetly and not find out by wife.

My currently strategy is hiding my textnow App and firefox App on my main cell phone. Firefox browser does not save any browsing history. Textnow app require login. These apps don't show up on App home page since I hide them. This allow me to browse for Sp and text to schedule sp on the go anytime I want. But problem with text app is that some agency don't take it. Hence considering getting a burner phone. But it will be hard to use burner phone on the go anytime esp. when I need to text agency to confirm my appointment before 9 am or 10 am. With App phone installed on my personal phone , I can just text and confirm appt in washroom while wife is sleeping in the morning. Just not sure how I can do that with burner phone.

Camera bag, hockey bag, golf bag, gym bag kept in car. Always keep phone clean of texts, history. Always off until you need to use.

Only use when decision to meet a chosen SP and backup has been made including day and time. Book day before. Phone off until time to confirm, keep on until session over. Clear all texts , calls and history. Back in bag. All contact made while away from house or only one there.

Browsing and research and planning done on other personal devices at my leisure. Use incognito mode, check history use. Although, some "spur of the moment" opportunities would easily be accommodated.

Found this to work without any problems. Cover story for phone would be simple. Old phone replaced and never threw out. In bag, forgot it was there.

Not needing any of this any longer.

If that's the case, sounds like you should use it to ring Canadian tyre, or CAA, or a few random legit numbers (traffic, weather, bridge traffic, etc). And leave those on the phone. But dont do those all at once lol. Every couple of weeks or when the spirit moves you. Then it looks like a real emergency phone if it falls into the hands of the Russians. Lol.

I like this, and am surprised I had not thought to do just that thing.

Check out Petro Canada Mobility pre-paid as an option. Mine was set up totally cash-only.
Thanks for the tip on Petro Canada Mobility. I just was able to get a SIM and 6 months of phone for ~$75 with cash. Had it set up and going within a few minutes through their online site. Can top it up with cash for $100/year.

I put the SIM in my old iPhone with a cracked screen that I always have in my work bag as "backup". I have been using a voip service that supports sending SMS (voip.ms) but it was flagged as a text app by one of the agencies so I guess it's time to get a burner phone... otherwise it has been great... you don't need to install an actual "app", just head to the web portal in private mode and close up when you're done. I fail to see how a pre-paid SIM that anybody can buy with cash gives me any more credibility than a voip service or texting app, but I guess the agencies have their reasons so what is a guy to do? Texting or calling with my primary cell phone is simply not an option for me.

I also use ProtonMail now. Not sure if it is in fact more secure than Gmail, etc, but I worry less about any sign ins potentially cross-contaminating with my "real" Google accounts. That, and it has a pretty inconspicuous app that I tucked far away into a folder called "Useless" that I toss all the apps I can't delete on my phone. As a last line of defence you can require a fingerprint or PIN to unlock the app every time.

Good to know about Petro Can. Same kind of thing as 7-11.

Yes, Proton is more secure than G. Several SP's are using it for end to end encryption, and It's based in Europe so the stupid anti sex work laws in the US can't touch their communication with clients.

Food for thought. If you travel into the US with the phone that the proton mail app is on, delete the app before you enter. I had a friend who uses it, (not for pooning that I know of) and he thinks it's presence on his phone raised some flags at the border. They asked to see his phone and the tone of the conversation changed when they saw the app.

I'm not going to bother reading four pages. If it hasn't been said, the best thing I suggest is instead of sneaking around like a child slipping out their bedroom window, break up with whoever you're with, then do whatever you want and whoever you want as a free man.

Interesting and good to know. Let's see if I can remember this next time I cross a border (whenever that is going to be??). Similar to TOR and other dark web instruments, I could see it being known to LE as an app/service that signals that the user has something to hide. Even if the thing they are hiding is just their general browsing and communication which is fully legal.

Not being very tech-savvy I was unaware that when you have your G-Mail active on your personal phone there can be a problem if someone else uses that phone to send a text to someone. When they or you send someone a text message and you want to attach an image to the message when you click on the paperclip options open up for where you can get that attachment from.

What I did not realize is that google drive is fully open and accessible if your G-Mail is open ( signed in ) on your phone. I had saved some compromising photos on google drive thinking access to them is password protected. I was wrong. One day I was sending a text and wanted to insert an image and when I clicked the paper clip I just happened to notice the google drive icon as a source of images and so I clicked on it expecting to have to type in my password, nope, there I was with a particular woman with her tongue in my ear along with many other relationships ending photos, I had a small heart attack signed out of G-mail on my phone and went into drive and deleted all the photos, very very close call.

I know most younger people will see this as an obvious thing but if I was not aware of that others may be in the same boat, If you have used your personal g-mail to save pictures to google drive you should take my experience into consideration and clean things up.

He went to a gas station, filled up his car, and, oopsy-daisy, splashed gasoline all over his hands. When he got home that's all his wife could smell, and he laughingly told her about his silly accident at the gas station. Of course she bought it!
Done that and another time I bought a coffee and after it cooled enough I intentionally spilled on myself but not because of perfume but because the room and SP stunk of smoke. Being a non smoker it would be hard to explain why the smell was so strong on me. I never saw her again even though the session was good just not worth the risk.

How are they able to tell that the call is coming from an app?
Display shows the number as the name on most, so instead of coming up on the SP phone as
John Smith
867-5309

it displays as
867-5309
867-5309

This is not true. That's a setting or paid feature with your carrier that you have to intentionally enable. ...Or, of course, if you save someone in your contacts.

They know because free apps have an ad at the bottom: "sent using xyz app". Many will disable that in the paid version. Just text your real number to test it, or, if you don't want your number "attached" to it, ask a "friend" to tell you what the SMS shows. There are also free online services that will receive SMS's and show them in a view - just know that if you can publicly see it, so can spam bots.
Otherwise they have no way of knowing. And many don't know that they don't know.

Additional pointers for the non-tech savvy:

- saving a number in your contact list will back it up to a server (like your Google account for Android), so there's an added footprint there

- the Facebook app will use the location history feature to detect "friends you might know". Happened to me on more than one occasion, with some unwelcome surprises coming up in my suggestion roll. This means that I also appeared there for the other side. Turn off location, WiFi and Bluetooth when you go somewhere, or just remove the app from your phone altogether. Reminder that Facebook also owns Instagram and WhatsApp and will mine data across these platforms.

It may not be the case with all apps but it was with at least one of the apps I used (fongo and Talkatone). I haven’t used since pre Covid so I don’t recall exactly.
There may be a way to change that I was unaware of but that was the default

I think I misunderstood your original message. What I got from it was that you were saying that with regular telephony (i.e not using the app) your name shows up as part of the caller it. This is what I was refuting.

Stockpile cash over time rather than withdrawing a large sum from the bank machine the day of a booking. Pre-COVID, any time I'd be at a restaurant with a group I'd usually volunteer to put the bill on my card and people would settle their portion by paying me cash which I'd just hold onto. No one checking what you're up to is looking for missing deposits they don't know about, they're looking for conspicuous withdrawals.

Stores like wal-mart still allow cash back up to $100 when paying by credit card so you can get some cash and all that will show is a wal-mart charge on your credit card.

Turn off notifications for messages on your phone. That way when your phone is idle a “hey baby” text won’t pop up on your lock screen. Also notify your favourite ladies that if they want to tell you they are available they must send a blank text. Or a text with just a period. Have them saved as some random corporation. For example if you save me as MCart Inc. that lets you know that Melissa Carter is messaging you but to anyone else looking at your phone it looks like a company messaging you. Have 3 passwords you can remember and interchange them once or twice a month so no one knows what your phone password is.

An MPA left hickeys on my chest. That night had sex with the wife in the dark and went to the washroom after. I flicked the light on and BAM. 3 big hickeys!! I tried a trick I read online that worked! Use a hard plastic comb, wet it, then start combing/scraping the area. This will make it bright red, but once the redness goes away so do they. I was in the bathroom for the length of say, a long hot shower, and returned with a little redness that went away shortly after.

Change the names of the ladies to male first names in your contacts, and add a random car dealer as their company. If every other precaution fails you can tell whoever sees the text that you are shocked!! this guy is clearly a pervert and you certainly won't be dealing with him again!!!

My suggestion is to not save contacts at all. Remember them or keep them in an encrypted or cyphered (ex write it backwards) note on your phone. Reasons being what I posted above:

- saving a number in your contact list will back it up to a server (like your Google account for Android), so there's an added footprint there
Software companies do stupid stuff with "suggestion" features and you never know.

Also, if Mike Hunt from the John Deer dealership texts you out of the blue "hey baby", what are you going to say? If it's an unknown number, you have an extra out. You could also block messages from that number until you decide to unblock them, but that list can also be checked.
Or what if your kid is messing with your google home and accidentally calls it and she answers? Etc
