Some interesting facts:

Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza whole family is from Miami. He grew up cheering for the Hurricanes. Except for his parents, none of his relatives refused to switch allegiance
All his 4 grandparents are from Cuba.
His brother Alberto will replace him as Indiana QB
Miami HC Mario Cristobal is also of Cuban origin. He was a linebacker for the Hurricanes
Cristobal and Indiana HC Cignetti both coached at Alabama under Nick Saban

I bet ICE will be paying them a visit soon.

The Rams will defeat the Seahawks because of the unstoppable Stafford/Nakua combination.
The Patriots will defeat the Broncos because replacement QB Stidham will be stifled.

I like Pats and Rams on the M/L.
But I do like Broncos to cover +4.5. And I like the under 43.5
And I like the over 47.5 in Rams Seahawks

Player props I like the most
Kenneth Walker +81.5 rushing yards
RJ Harvey +39.5 rushing
Kayshon Boutte +37.5 receiving
Jarret Stidham +194.5 passing
Stafford +255.5 passing
A.J. Barner +29.5 receiving
Davante Adams under 45.5 receiving
Blake Corum under 29.5 rushing

Apparently, some fans have soured on CBS color commentator Tony Romo. But all he does is continue to make correct calls. Example, he recommended Broncos should kick a field goal instead of going for it on 4th and goal. They went for it and failed to convert, giving away 3 points. Last week, he suggested Broncos should take a shot just before half time. They did and scored a TD. He is by far the best in the business. He and Jim Nantz are incomparable. Biggest disappointment has been Tom Brady All he does is spew cliches. Nothing insightful

3 and 1 this weekend, 8 and 2 overall. Of course I didn't place any bets.
On to next weekend:
Pats over Broncos
Seahawks over Rams.
2-0 this weekend, 10-2 overall.
My pick for the Super Bowl is.......the Seahawks over the Pats.

Sean McVay is supposed to be a brilliant coach. But when his team scored to make the score 31-26, a single point or a missed 2 point conversion would have required a touchdown to win. So he should have gone for 2 to try to make the score 31-28 so that a field goal would tie it. He elected to kick for a single point. Not a brilliant decision

I know.

What difference would it have made if an attempted 2 point conversion failed instead of PAT sailing through the uprights?

31- 26 compared to 31 - 27?

Wouldn't have mattered though as the LA defence simply would not have been able to stop Seattle with about 2 minutes left if the game was tied 31 -31 as evidenced by Seattle getting 3 first downs and basically running out the clock as they did.

Unable to stop Seattle on 3rd downs. Unable to force Darnold turnovers. Unable to wrap up tackles. DBs and LBs consistently 'juked out' and/or fooled by Seattle pass schemes thus out of position to make pass defence plays on Seattle WRs

Both defences scorched. The difference being zero turnovers and smothering pass defence by Seattle on 3rd and 4th down for LA inside the Seattle 10 yard line.

My point stands. There is essentially no difference between 31 - 26 and 31 - 27. So the smart call is to take a chance on 2 point conversion.
Seattle wasnt as dominant as you make it. They got 7 points off a muffed punt catch.
