2-1 on best bets and 8-8 overall in week 13. Getting a bit better.

Week 14 best bets

Seahawks +1 @ Eagles. The Sea D is starting to show some life again and should make life miserable for Sanchez & co.
Cardinals +1 vs Chiefs. I had to do a double take when I saw this line. The Cards are 6-0 at home and the Chiefs sure didn't look too impressive against the Broncos last week. The Cards truly are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
Browns +4 vs Colts. No question in my mind that Indy is the better all around team but I'm not sure they have a game plan on how to stop Manziel or Gordon. Browns D is also quietly improving and are better against the pass than the run.
Keep in mind that ARZ is without both Palmer and now Ellington.

Vontae Davis is also out for Indy...who is going to check Gordon? I like the Browns too in this one.

I'm still taking the Cardinals in a low scoring affair. Undefeated at home and KC wide receivers have a total of 0 touchdowns this season.

Good luck. Ellington might be done for the year and we know that is already the case with Palmer.

3-0 on best bets last week and 11-5 overall. Back on track. Week 15 is pretty tough I'm not feeling confident on these but my best bets are as follows

Raiders +10 @ Chiefs. If the Raiders can somehow neutralize Charles they should be able to cover. KC cannot pass - their best receiver is a rookie TE. KC run defense has also been susceptible and the Raiders look like they found a spark to their running game with Latavius Murray.

Steelers +3 @ Falcons. Both Julio Jones and Roddy White aren't 100%, in fact JJ is maybe 50%. Combine that with the league's worst pass d it should be a field day for Big Ben and co.

Giants -7 vs Redskins. Not too often would I spot a TD to an abysmal 4-9 team like the NYG but it just looks to me that the Skins have quit. The locker room is dysfunctional and the offense is in complete shambles with nobody even knowing who the starting QB is.

Edit: I'm leaning towards the Bills to cover at home as 5.5 underdogs to the Packers. Read a couple comments on a GB fan forum that gave valuable insight. I'm also feeling pretty strongly on the Texans +6.5 @ Colts, even without AJ. Didn't realize the Texans were the #1 def for takeaways. Combine that with a strong running game should keep this one close.

This week I like the Eagles over a troubled Redskin team, also the Lions as the Bears are a total mess. I think the Packers take out their frustrations on the Bucs and lastly the Pats seem unstoppable these days.

2-1 on last weeks best bets but 6-10 overall. Yuck.

Chargers +1 @ 49'ers. Game means nothing to SF, both RB's are hurt and their coach is set to be terminated at end of season.
Texans +6 vs Ravens. Yes the Texans have to turn to a 4th string QB but their defense and running game should be enough to at least keep it relatively close.
Bucs +11 vs Packers. Conventional wisdom says GB should annihilate the worst team in the NFC but looking deep into the numbers GB has not fared well away from Lambeau this season. Rodgers is 0-2 in his career at TB as well. He should end that streak but asking them to lay 11 points may be too much.

week #16. I like the raiders +pts, also cowboys- pts, and the cards +pts.
I'm with you on the Cards, 9 point underdogs at home? I know they are on a 3rd string QB who stinks worse than Cutler but their running game has been rejuvenated and their D is solid, especially vs the run. I've been riding these guys all season - the oddsmakers just continue to undervalue them.

What a comeback by SD last night.

If the cards can't throw the ball, the Seahawks will load up the box to stop the run. Arians says they will still throw all over but Ryan Lindley? It might as well be David Lindley! The Cards have a good D but I don't think they will score many pts today. One advantage for Arizona is they have been off for 10 days.

2-1 on best bets in week 16 and 9-7 overall. Let's try to end the season on a perfect note. Week 17 is always a bit of a crapshoot though as teams like NE, Indy and Dallas will be resting their key players. My best bets as follows

Texas -7.5 vs Jaguars. JJ Watt may outscore the entire Jags offense.
Lions +7.5 @ Packers. Gotta think this one is going to be close, even if it is at Lambeau.
Redskins +5 vs Cowboys. I just saw the Cowboys have a chance to go undefeated on the road. But this game means nothing to them and Griffin III has something to prove. Skins always play Boys tough and this time should be no different.

1-2 on week 17 best bets. Let's hope for better luck in playoffs. 1st round picks as follows

Cards +6 @ Panthers. Yes I know they are starting a 3rd string QB with a rookie backing up but I expect the D to step up here and force Newton out of the pocket. I see this one decided by a FG or less.

Ravens +3.5 @ Steelers. It will be a tough stadium and conditions but that extra 0.5 point plus LeVeon Bell's injury leads me to side with the Ravens in this one.

Colts -4 vs Bengals. No question the Colts have struggled the past couple of weeks but who knows what Bengals squad will show up. I'll lean with the home side in this one but not overly confident with it.

Cowboys -7 vs Lions. It took me a while to come around but I'm a Dallas believer. I thought the D would fold up like a tent but they have been steady. Kudos to the DC Rod Marinelli. They are playing with a ton of confidence and I'll jump on for the ride.

That's a great record for the year.

I took all dogs this weekend. I had no idea that the Cards punter sucked so bad. They would be better off going for it on fourth down.

Especially since that punter's dad was Kevin Butler, one of the best of all time. Man the Cards offense looked horrible.

2-2 for me last weekend. I agree with you both except I'm taking NE -7. Playoffs, Brady, Belicheck, home field advantage.................too much for the Ravens.
