Well so much for the Broncos, this week I like Utah State on Friday along with West Virginia on Saturday and the Steelers and Cardinals on Sunday.

Wow not a good start to my week 10 as I had Cinci. What a dud. Dalton was brutal. Oh well, it wasn't a best bet.

Week 10 best bets (last week 2-1)

Jac +7.5 vs Dallas (in London) - Romo playing with 2 small fractured bones in his lower back that doesn't sound good. Jac D has been surprisingly decent and should be able to keep this one relatively close. Should be a sloppy affair like most games across the pond have been.
Ari -7 vs StL - The Cards are undefeated at home and are stout against the run. StL has no passing game, having lost their best receiver Quick to a season ending injury. That spells blowout.
KC -2 at Buff - The Bills have no running game if Fred Jackson can't go. Also Watkins is a GTD. KC is healthy and a good squad. Only way Bills have a chance is if their front 4 have a monster game.

I think the Rams are due for a bad game, considering this is their third straight road game and I also agree with you on KC.

Other games I feel strongly about are the Saints at home against a SF team that is in a mess, and the Pack at home after a bye.

I am curious to see how the Steelers do against the sad sack Jets considering they lost to Tampa and the Browns.

I have been waiting for the Broncos to bust out, but the bloody Raiders always seem to get a late junky TD to cover the spread. The Seahawks, who were gold at home last year, just don't seem to have that going for them this year.

Fred Jackson and Sammy Watkins both expected to play but not at 100%. Doesn't change my mind. KC should win by at least a FG.

I think that Pitt-NYJ is a trap game. Big Ben coming off two 6 TD games and going against the league's worst pass d yet the spread is only 4.5? Something fishy there and I don't wanna touch it.

As a GB fan and coming off the bye I like the matchup but the spread is too high for me. GB secondary going to be without Burnett I can see the Bears hanging in there. Could be a shootout though I'd lean towards the over.

The interesting game for me this week is Mia @ Det. Both are good defenses and Calvin Johnson returning after 3 games. I see a tight affair coming down to a late field goal. Just don't know which way.

also on a side note, is it just me, or does colin kaeparnek look like the late, great FRANK ZAPPA, especially with his helmet on?

2-1 on best bets but 5-8 overall in week 10. Just ugly.

Week 11 best bets

GB -6.5 vs Philadelphia. Rarely do I put my team in the best bet category but this one plays into their favour. Philly coming off short week going into a tough place to play. Sanchez comes back down to reality.
Pitt -6.5 at Tennessee. The Titans are so bad they'd probably lose to a few college teams.
Cincinnati +7.5 @ New Orleans. The Bengals can't be as bad as they were last Thursday. If that team has any character they will come out to play against a not so impressive Saints squad.

Last week was an ugly bitch 2-1 on best bets but 4-10 overall. Yikes! Hopefully back on track this week

Arizona +7 at Seattle. I know Seahawks are good at home but let's be honest their defense hasn't bee all that impressive and their passing game is sub par. No brainer for me here I'll take the points.
Dallas -3.5 at NYG. I know it's a rivalry and home dogs yada yada. But the Giants are just a bad football team. Eli makes more turnovers than Pillsbury. I can see a blowout happening here.
SF -9.5 vs Washington. The Skins offense is in disarray with RG3 and their D doesn't compensate. The Bucs went into their park last week and destroyed them 27-7. That doesn't happen unless their is a structural problem with the team. SF in a laugher.

Other games I like - Rams +4.5 at SD, Bears -6 vs TB.

Too bad Tampa failed to cover last week or else I would have won a fortune...alas, I covered my bets and on to next week.

I was hoping that the Saints would have won as my pool selection was perfect up until that game!!!!

As for the turkey games:

* Bears + 7 at the Lions
* Philly +3.5 at Dallas
* Seattle +1.5 at SF

Playing hooky from office today always enjoy US Thanksgiving :)

Best bets last week 0-3 but actually finished up 7-8 overall. Go figure. Time to turn this slump around.

Week 13 best bets
Seahawks +0.5 @ 49'ers. Just going with the better team here. 49'ers offense seems to be stuck in neutral. Gotta love their LB Borland though dude is all over the field making plays.

Colts -10 vs Redskins. Colts at home against a porous Skins squad who will be benching RG3. This one should get ugly I'd still bet the Colts if the line were 17.

Dolphins -7 @ Jets. Normally don't like to put a Monday night game as a best bet but this one is just too enticing. Game means much more to Miami than it does to the Jets. Vick is awful. A better bet would be the over under on how many J-E-T-S fans show up with paper bags.

In the other games today I like Bears and Eagles to both cover the spread although I'm not comfortable with either. Just hoping the games are exciting as we've seen a few duds on Turkey day. Enjoy.

2-1 on best bets and 8-8 overall in week 13. Getting a bit better.

Week 14 best bets

Seahawks +1 @ Eagles. The Sea D is starting to show some life again and should make life miserable for Sanchez & co.
Cardinals +1 vs Chiefs. I had to do a double take when I saw this line. The Cards are 6-0 at home and the Chiefs sure didn't look too impressive against the Broncos last week. The Cards truly are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
Browns +4 vs Colts. No question in my mind that Indy is the better all around team but I'm not sure they have a game plan on how to stop Manziel or Gordon. Browns D is also quietly improving and are better against the pass than the run.
