I saw Peter Falk on TV once, in the crowd at the US Open tennis tournament. It was really strange seeing his one eye moving rapidly horizontally while the glass one stayed fixed,

He got an eyeful with Gretchen Corbett. She went on to play Jim Rockford's lawyer, supposedly James Garner never touched her?!

Just think if Sammy Davis Jr. was sitting in the seat next to him.

The thing about Nadal is he is a much better player on clay than grass and hard courts. In other words a one trick left handed pony.
Actually, Nadal is great on all surfaces. However, he is virtually unbeatable on clay (greatest on clay).
BTW 1: Laver's first Grand Slam was against amateurs. The best players were pros.
BTW 2: When is Ukrainian Christmas?

Jan.7th I think. Unfortunately I have not celebrated it since my mother died in 1975. Sure miss the Christmas traditional 12 different courses. Loved the kolach bread and the wheat and honey except for the poppy seeds.

The belly buster:

Wheat, borsht, herring (I still don't like herring), shrimp, smoked salmon, cabbage rolls, pieogi with cheese, pierogi with kapusta, washed down with n bottles of wine.
Then we have desert.
Then we open presents.
Then we do dishes until 2:30am.

When I lived in Calgary I celebrated Ukrainian Christmas with some of my Beer League hockey buddies. I had no clue what I was eating but I'm still alive so all good. LOL

BTW: Why do Ukrainian hockey players have so many elbows? LOL

I couldn't agree with you more. Except, no wine. My uncle's who lived in the Parkdale area of Toronto made their own Moonshine Whiskey. Pour some in a dish, light a match to it and you have lovely blue flame for hours. Dobra Dobra.

Who scored the last goal for the Toronto Maple Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens, February 13, 1999?
I had tickets for that game but had to give them up because my cousin got married that day.
I'll guess Steve Thomas.

Who scored the first NHL goal at the Air Canada Centre, February 20, 1999?
I know that game was against the Habs and I think we won it. No idea who scored first us or them but I'll go with Derek King

What NHL team has had the most players with 100 point seasons?, (players with multiple 100 points seasons are counted once.)

2nd guess: Mats Sundin
Neither of these players scored the first goal at the Air Canada Centre. The Leafs did, indeed win that February 20, 1999 game against the Habs, on a Steve Thomas goal in overtime.

I remember the last game at Maple Leafs Gardens, Black Hawks vs Shitterloafs.

Chris Smelios shot a puck into a camera lens (can't remember if it was the end of the first or second period), taking it out of commission for the remainder of the game. Who scored the last goal, the guy that made me hate Don Cherry: Bob Probert.

I don't need to repeat the disgraceful conduct on Grapevine, I felt so bad for Probert.

Didn't know there was a film, just downloaded it.
