When Al Bumbry was a first base coach in Major League Baseball, what ritual did he perform during the fourth of fifth innings of games?
Bumbry ate sunflower seeds constantly during games. Using his foot, he raked the empty seed shells into a small pile near the coaching box, before the groundskeepers came out at mid-game.

Which former Toronto Blue Jay struck out 211 times in one minor league season of A ball, AND what mighty feat did he accomplish in the Major Leagues which no one had done before, nor since?
Glenallen Hill.

On May 11, 2000, Hill became the first, and thus far only player to hit a home run on the three-story residential building across the street from Wrigley Field at 1032 W. Waveland Ave.

Hill was also infamous for his defensive escapades, which were once described by then-Mariners pitching coach Bryan Price as "akin to watching a gaffed haddock surface for air."

What former Toronto Raptor was ejected from an NBA game, (double technical), BEFORE the beginning of one of his Raptors' home games? Additionally, who was the member of the opposing team, who prompted the outburst, and why did it occur, from the point of view of the ejected player?
Charles Oakley.

In April, 2001, Oakley bitch-slapped Tyrone Hill of the 76ers before the game, because of an unpaid poker game debt.

I usually am just answering but I came across this and thought I would throw it out there.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977 at age 34 and remains the youngest person to have received the honour. He is one of four players in the Super Bowl era to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame without ever playing a postseason game. He was named to the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team as a halfback and kick returner, the only player to occupy two positions on the team. In 2019, he was named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Gayle Sayers.

You anticipated a question I was going to ask.

In addition to Gayle Sayers, there are four members of the Football Hall of Fame from the Superbowl Era who never played in a playoff* game.

Dick Butkus . . . . Floyd Little

Larry Wilson . . . . Joe Thomas

Name as many as you can.

*I changed the word 'postseason' to 'playoff' for two reasons:

1) It excludes the Pro Bowl games, which are played post season.

2) One of these players played in a pre Super Bowl post season game in the 1960's to determine third and fourth place standing for the season.

unassuming correctly identified Dick Butkus.

downbound123 correctly identified Floyd Little, Larry Wilson and Joe Thomas.

Three correct!

Your source listed four members in this group rather than five because it was not updated when Joe Thomas was inducted this year.

Which Running Back rushed for 2,000+ yards in a season in high school, NCAA and the NFL?
I'm going to guess Barry Sanders.

I know he did in the NCAA and NFL - no clue about high school.
I suspect its somebody else, because if he had 2000 in high school, he probably would have ended up at a better program than Oklahoma St.
