First one that comes to mind for me is the AL West which only had four teams for a number of years. And in particular those years when Beane and the A's were crushing it along with Ichiro and the Mariners. I'll guess 2002.
Second one I'll say NL West when the Giants were on their roll of 3 World Series in 5 years or something like that. Let's go 2010.
