I expected if there was ever another league there would be major rule changes such as 4 vs 4 to differentiate itself.
Surprised it went to 3 vs 3.
Given the descriptions of who would be eligible and how the league is limiting talent (only 3 current professional players allowed per team, and that includes minor league pros), I can't see how the salary cap is $30 million. He must have misread or was given bad information. Maybe it was $3.0 million? Because a $30 million cap for a startup, with limits on talent, is beyond insane.
It doesn't really look like they are trying to compete against the NHL for its players for the most part - just an alternative.
