Nice to see Pendrith finally get his win -- he had some great results a few years back, getting on to the Pres Cup team but struggled after that (partly injury related) As a group they are doing OK this year - last year was the shining one in terms of getting wins.
It will be interesting to see how many make the President's Cup team in 2024, since it is at Royal Montreal.
Here are the current rankings based on OWGR (top 6 in OWGR are automatic). Weir than gets 6 picks.
1. (15) Matsuyama
2. (23) Tom Kim
3. (24) Jason Day
4. (26) NIck Taylor
5. (32) Byeong Hun An
6. (34) Min Woo Lee
Those that will likely be considered by Mike Weir for his 6 choices. I bolded who I think will get them. The number of Canadians that will get in I think is dependent on what Weir does what 2 LIV players. Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann will have likely met the minimum qualifications to get in (15 "official OWGR) events the last 2 years. If they go LIV, I think 5 of the 6 spots go to Smith, Niemann, Connors, Hadwin, Scott. Hughes, Pendrith, Im, Kim would probably fight for the last one. If no spots go to LIV, then you probably get a 4th Canadian at the President's Cup.
7. (38) Sungjae Im
8. (44) Si Woo Kim
9. (46) Emiliano Grillo
10. (49) Adam Hadwin
11. (52) Corey Connors
12. (53) Adam Scott
14. (56) Cameron Smith
15. (58) Taylor Pendrith
19. (69) Mackenzie Hughes
22. (83) Adam Svensson
26. (91) Joaquin Niemann
