Montreal Be interesting to see who they come up with to compliment the current line up.
Darts compliments them all the time. He says that they are too good of a lineup to want a guy like Nylander. They have guys who play the "Montreal system".

Question: Should we start a Montreal Canadiens thread?

And how many years have the Leafs been wandering in the wilderness? Sure 1993 was a long time ago but while math was never my strong suit it seems to me that 1967 is the dark ages by comparison.

Also ancient history but another fun fact Montreal 24 - Toronto 13.
Ok Habs fan.

.
As I said before, the Habs are supposedly the "Mount Olympus" of franchises and the Leafs are ridiculed, but at this point you are reduced to having the Leafs as the only franchise you can compare yourself to favourably. Pretty sad for you guys, n'est ce pas?

We have accepted our lot, just as the Red Sox fans did for so many years. Time for you guys to admit that after 30 years of ineptitude, you are in the same boat as us. The distant past means nothing.

Your franchise currently is shit and the Leafs have more talent (admittedly untapped) and upside potential, even with their extra cap space. That's because it is Bergevin controlling that cap space. He's had 7 years so far and done zippo. It's looking like a 10 year plan under him. And even if they dump him and bring in someone new, that guy will need extra time as well. At this point Montreal's outlook for the next 3-5 years looks less promising than the Leafs'. Deal with it. You guys have nothing at all to crow about.

BTW, do you know about the "Montreal system" that your spokesperson Darts refers to?

No, you should start a "Will the Habs win the cup thread". I trolled hab fans on merb and got banned.
Well, they get so much snow it should not be surprising that there are lots of snowflakes for Habs fans.

Talk about being thin-skinned and overly sensitive.

:focus: Vancouver Canucks in town tonight to take on the Leafs. Who's looking dangerous on their roster? Who will the Leafs be looking to shut down? Who plays tonight for the Leafs - Rosen or Liljegren?

Just keep Marincin the fuck out of the lineup.

Will be interesting to see how Tyler Toffoli's aggressive forechecking style affects the Leafs young D-men. Could be also be a big night for Quinn Hughes who as a rookie is playing about 25mins per game and is leading all rookies in scoring.

When Keefe dressed 11 forwards and 7 D, it worked against Florida. The forward lines kept being mixed up and Florida could not line match, it found Matthews out there with Florida's 3rd and 4th line. Will Keefe have the same strategy tonight, even though he has last line change? Keefe doesn't like to line match as much as Babcock though.

Leafs forwards should be quick to get on Hughes, they should be hitting him. Look forward to Toffoli and Clifford fight, that would spark the game. Leafs have last line change should use to their advantage.
