Yes, you are correct. He played Senator Johnny Islen in the Manchurian Candidate.

However, the roles you cite are irrelevant, as his best and ONLY true performance was as Dr. Tristan Adams in "Dagger Of The Mind", a Season 1 episode of Star Trek. He played a psychotic psychiatrist who brainwashed an entire colony of insane people with his Neural Neutralizer.
