That could stoke the violence such as that against Pelosi's husband and then January 6th Insurrection!!
It's odd that when we are discussing the figurative use of the word shot/shoot these are the incidents you present.

Unfortunately, the only recent political shootings I can think of are Trump and Congressmen Steve Scalise. If we go a little farther back, there is Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

Progressive Mitch, are you going to be spending the day watching and posting talking heads discussing an election that will be over late tonight? ........that you're not voting in.

The people that control immigration policy and use the media to call you racist when you complain that migrants are overrunning your neighbourhood are the same people that won't tolerate any migrants in their own neighbourhood.
It will be interesting to see how the Latino vote comes in today. Many Latinos are not happy with the influx of migrants into their communities.

Radical Dutchie, I haven't watched anything yet and I won't watch the live shows til probably 11 pm tonight. I am back at my desk now and I'll go through some clips and post them for your viewing pleasure. Don't worry, it won't be a vomit Mitchy session, just a few selected eyebrow-raising clips you will enjoy.

Wyatt my cultist Terb friend, I found one and it involves Fox News.

Watch Mark Kelly lay down the facts!

No thank you necessary.

Trumps "weaving" as he calls his disjointed monologues have become darker, longer, more profane and increasingly unfocused and unhinged — a troubling sign that he is no longer able to articulate ideas or reason. This makes him prey to manipulations by his own staff or, worse, the control of foreign adversaries.

He shambles about aimlessly, slurs his words and what used to be word salads have become shear gibberish.

Always an effortless liar, his speeches are now nothing more than a series of lies tangled in a mass inside his head, it appears he no longer even knows he’s lying.
Will I find a similar post on here in the past questioning Biden's obvious mental decline or is it ok to look the other way when you agree with his politics?

Mark Kelly is articulate. He has also tried to find a way to get the Administration to enforce the border the last couple years. If Kamala wins, it would be interesting to see how much he separates himself from her. The State of Arizona is known for a strong independent streak.

On the video clip, I find the host of this particular YouTube channel pedantic and verbose. But then again whether it's left or right, I don't care much of this format of a narrator doing a lot of talking over news clips. It's kind of doubles up on my criticism that we have too many commentators telling us how to think and feel about the world and events.

Anyway, I understand the objectives of the CHIPS act. There are some economists that believe it will contribute to domestic and global oversupply. Generally when China and other countries have subsidized industries, it has led to global overproduction and gluts. China is subsidizing their chips industry.

I myself am not against the U.S. government promoting certain industries. I just tend to think government direct investment is not the best way to do it.

Schlong, that is not whataboutism.

It is a direct and contemporary test of objectivism.

The violence on January 6th eventually led to several cops being injured, some subsequently dying, and Congress Representatives / Senators lives also under threat!!

You should look up what the actual causes of death. You will find they had stress related deaths. They didn't die from physical violence.

If you're a normal person, you have to wonder if the Capitol Police was a low/no stress job for law enforcement employees who were finishing their final years. Then this makes you ask the question why weren't they given support to deal with the protest.

Don't you think that if these policemen were not subjected to the violence, then they would have been alive today?
Several cops were also injured from objects thrown at them including some chemical substance.
Look at the destruction of doors and windows that were bashed in by these violent Trump supporters!!

Either is Harris.
The idiot chose to back genocide instead of winning the election.

Now we wait and see how long it takes for everyone to realize that trump is already senile.
