This is free market at work and there are regulations to cap the number of workers, mandate a minimum salary etc.,
Salaries depend on many factors too.
So I dont see the problem here.
When you say they are depressing wages, you need to prove that.
The actual salary data shows that the extremely high tech salaries in the west coast are contrary to the depressing salaries narratives.

It is understandable too, because you are replacing with outsourced workers.
It doesn't make business sense to pay outsourced workers the same wages as US workers AND spend money to sponsor them a visa.
So anyway the study is not anything ground breaking.
As I said the wage impact of H1B is always bandied about and overstated.
A metric to compare against would have been how much it grew the US economy.
I also have already acknowledged the H1B program as shitty.
By the way, this is true of the Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker program as well.
This is why I would like all temporary foreign worker programs to be shut down completely.
But not for the reasons MAGA wants to shut it down (which is race).
For me it is about bringing in and keeping highly skilled immigrants while limiting low skilled, low wage workers.

This election was about economy, immigration, wars, and sticking it to elite circles. And it was about trust. After the Joe Biden revelations of his cognitive decline were fully out there people realized that this administration had lied for possibly years about who was running the nation. And more specifically Kamala Harris was. The primary Job of the VP is to be the backstop in just such a situation and remove an incompetent president from the office. It's her constitutional duty. She failed that duty. The machinations were clearly on display that the Democrats have not run a clean and open primary in three elections.
Trump attracted voters from every racial demographic, because the majority voted based not on race, but economic class lines. It's in the numbers. But you go ahead and keep telling yourself the same lies the Democrats are. And populists will keep on winning.

Tell you what, when you can actually get a number, feel free to post it with some sort of proof. Btw the best place to start is about 30%. It's the same number of voters who always vote Blue no matter who. The other 40% are independents. After that start at racial demographics. And, no, you don't get to assume all white people who voted for Trump are racist. Then remove a good portion of the richer ones because they voted for the tax cuts. Then look at military background because they voted anti war. As did a crapload of Muslims, and other demographics.
That's just the start and doesn't include the poor ones about inflation.
Suddenly the numbers dwindles.
I said start. Then start minusing based on what I said. Even then. 25 million is slightly less than 10% of the adult population. Bet you get down to 5% or less as race as a primary motivation for voting very quickly.
