Shouldnt there be a requirement that members post at least one review per year in order to remain members of this board? There is one poster who has over 30,000 posts, yet no reviews (that I remember seeing or reading) about any visit to any sp. What is this member doing on the board? Is he a member of law enforcement? Is he a moderator that posts without the title for everyone to see? What value do these members have to the board?

I think there are some of us that do not like to publish reviews for various reasons. You need to keep in mind the following:
1) There are PM's that go on, so you don't know what this review-free member says to others via PM. He may share information that way. I know I have.
2) This is an advertising service as well. The user may just look at the ads.
3) It is a community as well, where there are lots of other discussions going on
4) There are people on here who do not actively engage in seeing SP's and there are former SP's on here keeping in touch with friends.

There is a rumour that the poster you're referring to is paid to be here. Some say it is to create controversy and arguments in order to increase traffic to the site.
I think more important would be to disable the ability to type the phrase "anybody seen this one?"........

A minimum review requirement might suite the tastes of wannabe hall monitors, but you might be surprised at how few your numbers are. If people want to lurk, or just shoot the shit in the lounge, what the fuck is it to you?
Enforcing such a policy would shut down the entire General Area of this board. While it might sound good to enforce a 1 review minimum policy, that job would be the biggest pain in the ass ever. I don't think you could pay someone enough money to do that day in, day out. And how can you be so sure that the poster with 30,000 posts has never written a review? As if you've gone through every single one of his posts?
If what blackrock13 does is okay with everybody, would it be acceptable if everyone did as blackrock13 does? If all members of this borad posted 32,000 times and never offered a review amongst all those posts, Fred would have to buy extra bandwidth and computer equipment, hire more employees, etc., and no one would be better off for it. We would jsut have a site of millions of posts - 100% of which is basicall junk as it relates to finding good escorts. What would this board be? All blackrock13 does is argue with everything people post. He posts about 30 times a day and never offers anything of value in terms of helping us.

I knew that was who you were talking about, just didn't want to name names. BR only posts in the general area and never in the review section. Besides, I sometimes enjoy arguing with BR, it made today's work day just fly right by.
