It really does.

And the fact it was so preventable. You've got that much money and you can't make sure you have an alternate method of getting home from the airport when you know you'll be drunk. Not to mention, the people he was with should've made sure he didn't drive. The low-life deserves to rot in jail.

I'll add, he's so stupid he can't even tell the courts what they want to hear in an effort to get day parole. Even if it meant lying.
Yup he came off as an arrogant dickhead.

Agreed. His long record of driving infractions before this accident make it clear he is an entitled prick with no care or consideration for anyone else's safety.

If he were truly sorry, he would have entered a guilty plea far sooner than he did, and would not have jumped at the first opportunity for parole - legal right or not.

It’s to bad they didn’t transfer him for a few days to a serious prison ( you would think if you kill 4 people you should anyways ) and release him to general pop and announce a child killer is on the range !! He would be killed quickly period
But sadly that will never happen to the Uber rich . Just another example of the power of
Money

I wouldn't go that far. Yes Marco Muzzo is a stronzo digerito (degenerate POS) but what he did wasn't per-meditated - he's no Robert Pickton. Let him sit in jail and reflect on his brainless idiocy. Maybe, just maybe, when he gets out he may work toward the greater good. Provided he does want some form of redemption.

And the Muzzo estate isn't worth more than $36 million tops, anything beyond that is yellow journalism.

What he did was kill 4 people from his arrogance period . So I just don’t live in the world wher when you do that you get to reform yourself , that family has been decimated. He is already in a country club of a prison , video games Nike shoes special meals fuck me how is that justice for that family ? I say put that piece of shit in general pop and let the inmates deal with him themselves . At least make him defend himself

complete spoon fed moron. doesn't think whatsover, then or now.

agreed 100% re the his bestman bachelor party buddies - makes NO SENSE that not even one of them would have called an uber for him or taken his car keys for a few hours.

Second parole hearing is on April 28.

The memorial at Kipling and Kirby is being picked up again.

It sounds like Muzzo will likely make parole.
I am sure he has been told the right things to say.

Muzzo granted day parole.
Actually he's getting full parole, half-way houses are more like out-houses for the coronavirus.

I knew something was up, all sorts of news vans at the corner of Kipling and Kirby...even BNN was there!

You forget bocce ball, three day family visitis aka bang the snot out of your fiance for a long weekend all on the govs dime. An absolute slap in the face to the victims, 10yrs is even a very light sentence for taking 4 lives. Pos should have served his full ten years & been greeted at the exit door by Mike Tyson for one knock out punch. Facking liberal minded justice system is an absolute joke

GTA & Thereabouts...
Just think about this: Muzzo got into one accident with that one car. Would we feel the same if the car he hit held only the elderly grandfather as opposed to one which included the little kids? How would we feel if there was no drinking involved? Did the elderly grandfather driving the vehicle not react fast-enough behind the wheel?

We all can rant and rave, but we have to remember that our justice system is based on re-education as opposed to punishment. Muzzo could've fled the country, but did not. He stayed at the scene and plead guilty. The results were horrible, but what more do you want from him?

This whole case made me feel weird and still does... I'll never forget how bizarre the parents acted.

Not exactly, the corner of Kipling and Kirby has a two way stop sign on Kipling. The van carrying the Lake family, driving westward to the 27, had the right of way. They didn't see the Muzzone drag racing up Kipling, ignoring the Stop Sign. He flagrantly broke the law and he knew it.

Way to subtly put blame on the dead. No.

This piece of crap does not get any sympathy because he "stayed at the scene". What kind of rationalization is that? He could have left sure. He also could have not been a piece of crap and killed people.
