Here's a novel concept - Instead of being a perpetual Leafs apologist, why not just admit the Leafs did their very best to win but were badly out-coached and out-played by a less talented team, and leave it at that. It's been the story of the Leafs for years, and everyone knows it.

This is Jack Campbell's 11 professional season and it's his first season of being a #1 for an NHL team...he's done a great job...but...he still has some proving to do.

He did a great job until the Xmas break. But since Dec 1st, 2021 the Leafs are actually one of the worst teams in the NHL in 5 on 5 save percentage.
