Turnover by Lily. Blues score and up 4 to 3 and that was the game.
Refs missed a too many men on the Blues that could have made a difference when the game was still tight.

Lyubushkin 94 hits this year is more than any Leaf.
He'll likely play bottom pair with Sandin and could very well take over PK duties from Rielly.

Leafs place Dzingel on waivers to clear some cap space, if not picked up he will report to the Marlies. The Leafs needed Lyubushkin.

It sounds like they might pair him with Muzzin.
If it moves Holl down to the 3rd paring that could only be a good thing.

The Leafs have a knack for making shit teams look good.
I'd narrow it down.

Mrazek has that ability all by himself.

He badly overplayed goals 2,3 and 4. And the human sleep machine, Craig Simpson, agreed with me each time.

I know nothing about the new tender we got from Phoenix today, but he's gotta be better than Mrazek.

What can we get for Mrazek and Holl in a trade?

Muzzin will be on LTIR and Dubas has $5.625 in cap space. Just in time before the trade deadline, perfect timing.

Hutton will stay in Tucson on loan. Will be recalled by the Leafs in case of emergency.

This is the 2nd time Montreal has taken out a Leaf with an inadvertent knee to the head.
This is Muzzin's 4th injury as a Leaf. Back to back playoffs and twice this season.

Despite the loss the Leafs still hold a dominant record of 18-6 against teams which currently do not hold a playoff spot so I don’t think its a loss that we should be too worried about . This team’s offensive talent and style of play have proven once again that it’s a great regular season team.

I’ve been paying more attention to how this team plays against the better teams in the east, ie teams they may meet in the first round. Even with two recent wins over Pittsburg and Carolina, the Leafs record against these current playoff teams stands at 5-6. Two asterisks about this record: 1) three losses were in October when the Leafs were struggling mightily and 2) how few games against these teams comparing to the other teams.

It’s also interesting to note that the Leafs‘ record against the teams which currently hold a playoff spot in the West stands at 9-5. This may be an indication that the power is shifting to the east ? Too bad the Leafs are not going to meet any of this teams in the playoffs until the final.

Keefe got outcoached, Montreal line matched his top lines, if this trend happens the Leafs will exit the 1st round of the playoffs again.

Sometimes a fresh set of eyes or an infectious positive attitude is just what is needed.

Other times it's just a God awful performance by the opposing teams goalie........

Nice to see Caulfield getting going though. Love his smile when he scores.
