44, had ongoing heart issues.
A Stanley Cup champion, as part of the '67 Maple Leafs, but didn't play enough games to get name on Cup.
In that case, how about Dunc Wilson instead.
Actually, the Leafs left Hutchinson out to dry today. I couldn't believe how many clear cut chances Minny had in the just the1st. After that, I was mainly watching the City/Liverpool game.
Dunc is still breathing, so that's a skate stride in the right direction.
Agreed regarding Leafs leaving MH out to dry.
That was their worst defensive performance of the year, possibly season.
Hutchinson isn't really a step down from Sparks. He has experience in the league and showed he could play very well in his earlier days with Winnipeg, but was sent down because he allowed the occasional softie.
Speaking of softies - brilliant assist on the Zach Parise winning goal by Auston Matthews today. Haven't seen a defensive zone pass that fat, lazy and unrushed since my son played pee wee.
If Matthews signs for $13m what is Marner worth, for real?
As of tonight he's 52nd in the league in points which is fine, somewhere between Taylor Hall and Bo Horvat. I just hope his defensive skills mature. Watching a replay of the first Minnesota goal today was painful.

I watched Kadri and Marleau played together for a while now. They looked kind of disorganize as a line,imho. Can you move Kadri up with Marner if you were Bab? Kadri can't make plays consistently for both of his current wingers. I look at Kadri is just like what happened to Norman Powell of the Raptors. Kadri needs a breakout game similar to Powell,last night.
