Man Shot in Toronto Barber Shop

I was watching CTV NEWS and there were people in the community asking people in the community to break the "code of silence" and tell what they know to the police. (This goes completely against the teachings of the late Dudley Law.)
That rabble rousing "community actist"" had an S at the end of his surname.
I suppose in his 'community' he was a 'broken man'

Have things gotten so politically correct that even the police do not provide information regarding their suspect? I was surprised that there has been almost no real information in the media, but had chalked that up to the media not wanting to be accused of racism - but even the cops aren't providing information.
I just viewed the YouTube video regarding the shooting and it contained almost no useful information regarding the suspect other than to identify him as a male in dark clothing. The police have video and yet they haven't provided any information regarding age, height, weight, or ethnicity of the suspect. Statements to the effect that they believe that Chris Thompson was targeted raise the obvious - the individual who committed this crime must have known who the victim was in order to specifically target him.
If the police expect the public to help with their investigation they need to be a little more forthcoming with a basic description of the suspect.

The Toronto Star had statistics that show blacks of Jamaican descent were accountable for FAR greater proportion of the crime in Toronto relative to their population size but that can't be reported because it would be "racist" and unfairly label the black community.
I'll let people make their own assessment of that...

Barbering while Black (Chris Thompson). Rapping while Black (Anthony Spencer). Attending school while Black (Jordan Manners). Much more dangerous than driving while Black? Apparently, some members of the community are now taking to police. The late Dudley Law(sp) would not be pleased.

The story states what has already been widely reported. Crime rates have been falling, great. But the crimes that continue to occur especially here in Toronto are by and large created by one under represented community. It's difficult to find those stats since it's not politically correct to report them but take a trip to your local court house and see for yourself which group is disproportionally represented.
When he was still a cop, Fantino released those statistics in 1989, and afterwards had to apologize for releasing them. Since then, no one has been brave enough to release them again.
Ok, we're all racist, including yourself. We are all alike, end discussion/arguement now.
