Scarborough is a large area you cannot generalize the entire area because of a few bad pockets. And even the bad pockets have been mostly cleaned up. Most of the gangs are broken up or moved on. It is nothing like the old days. Just a quick look at a map the lists murders over the last few years and it is easy to see that there are just as many murders evenly throughout the rest of Toronto as there are in Scarborough. And many of the murders in Scarborough were domestic related (so little chance you will be a random victim) not gang related. The media just blows things way out of proportion (especially the biased shit Toronto Star). When someone is killed in many areas around Toronto it ends up on the second page and many times lists only the little street it took place on or maybe a main intersection. When someone is murdered in Scarborough it becomes front page news with SCARBOROUGH in the headline and throughout the article. It is even at a point now that when something happens in east Toronto (Donlands, Gerrad etc) area reports are always "IN THE EAST END" giving the impression of Scarborough.the gangs in scarberia are getting out of hand
