Whats your comment regarding Chief Crowley comments that the reservoir was dry? And that due to budget cuts the hydrants weren't inspected? She's saying the city of Los Angles failed her...Why didn't Jessica mention this? Please the board needs to hear your take on this.
Sounds political. Possibly an internal conflict over budgets and what not.
I think she is protecting herself and threw the mayor under the bus.

We saw the 5 foot 1 female secret service agents scrambling during the attempted assassination on Trump.

Now we have Cali burning, partly because of the black female mayor who funnelled money into things like libraries while cutting the budget for the fire department (amidst "climate change" which sees unusually high dryness and increasing forest fires in LA), and a lesbian fire chief whose highest priority is getting more gays and women hired into the fire department instead of anyone capable and competent enough to fight fires.

BECAUSE of a black mayor? (As an aside, you know that the Mayor doesn't control the budget alone? I know you are a Trump thinker and see govt leaders as owners of their own business' that can do anything they want, but that's not how it works in govt)

Municipal water systems are not sized to fight wildfires of this magnitude. Especially in terrain with hills, mountains and valleys. Do you even understand the basic principles of how municipal water systems work? Gravity, head pressure, tanks, reservoirs etc?

These tanks, mains etc were sized and installed decades ago. They can only feed so much water through the water mains, and when there are so many hydrants open the pressure drops. And worse in the valleys due to gravity.

Besides, NOTHING could stop this magnitude of a firestorm in these sort of winds. It is like a self-sustaining and self-accelerating nuclear reaction. I've seen way less first hand and nothing stops it.

I stick to the facts, you're the one attempting to spread misinformation.

Maybe her interview isn't coming down on your page so I posted it again.

Should she be fired for spreading misinformation according to your sources?

JUST IN: LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley doubles down on throwing Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass under the bus. Crowley said Bass' leadership did "negatively impact" their efforts to stop the fire. "Let me be clear. The $17M budget cut and elimination of our civilian positions like our mechanics did and has and will continue to severely impact our ability to repair our apparatus." "Over the last 3 years, we have been clear that the fire department needs help. We can no longer sustain where we are." "I have also requested multiple interim budgets... to show how understaffed, under-resourced, and underfunded the LAFD is."

NEW: LA Mayor Karen Bass called for $49M in additional cuts to the fire department just *one week* before the LA fires which would have shut down 16 fire stations. California: We deserve better leaders. The revelation was made by the Daily Mail who obtained a leaked internal memo. "The LAFD is still going through a [financial year] 2024/2025 $48.8million budget reduction exercise with the [City Attorney's Office]," the document read. "The only way to provide a cost savings would be to close as many as 16 fire stations (not resources, fire stations); this equates to at least one fire station per City Council District."

Mainstream media wants to blame climate change for insurance companies not covering damage caused by LA wildfires, but the real blame lies in Democrat policies: Tom Ellsworth: "State Farm said last year we're not renewing 69% of the homes we insure currently today in Palisades. Why? Because the county of L.A. and the city of L.A. had suspended brush removal in Palisades. This comes down to the county." You can blame climate change: A bureaucratic climate that changed after Democrats added red tape.

OK, so let me just add this to the list. Fire hydrants don’t have water. Reservoirs are under construction. And don’t have water. Home insurance coverage canceled. Fire department donated equipment to Ukraine. Mayor cut budget for fire department. Fire department budget dedicated to fighting homelessness. Lesbian firefighter, dedicated to “diversity, equity, and inclusion”. And now the goddamn emergency app is sending out random, unsolicited warning that mean nothing? How many people need to go to jail for this? Trick question: ALL OF THEM.

WTF?! LA County just admitted they’ve LOST CONTROL of their emergency alert system You can even hear one going off in the room as the Emergency Management Director speaks MILLIONS of people are getting erroneous alerts telling them to evacuate, even if they’re 10+ miles from any fire or evacuation zone. These people are wildly incompetent.

The way to fight fires is with proper infrastructure, water, and firefighters.

There is no infrastructure (you're right the tanks and mains are decades old), no water, and not enough firefighters.

You mean you agree with me this time.
Well, that is a start. lol.
Yeah start making more sense and I'll agree with you more....

Chief Crowley getting real here with Jake Tapper...The mayor is toast right now, lol

She's got some major stones for coming out and saying this. Democrat spin technicians are working overtime now.
