I just saw a poll of 20,000 Americans who were asked if they felt that the negative effects of a lockdown were worse than the negative effects of the virus.
85% said, NO. Just sayin'.

Interesting. I would expect that the quoted doc knows a thing or two about infectious disease but has absolutely no credentials in economics.David Staples: Lockdowns will cause 10 times more harm to human health than COVID-19 itself, says infectious disease expert
The harm caused by lockdowns is much worse than the disease of COVID-19. That’s the argument from numerous public health officials and economists around the world, …edmontonjournal.com

What difference does it make about their “neighbours?”
Has anyone here ever been to Norway? It’s freaking deserted.
Every country or state counts differently and none of them are accurate.
There’s no one way of doing things that’s been proven to be any more effective than any other.
I’ll compare resumes any time chum. You obviously do not get laid often by different women from different countries. Norway has some hot toned blondes. You need to get out more. It doesn't matter if you're wearing your CM hat, Decoy hat or SPFree hat, just get out there and get laid a little. It will help with the conspiracy absorption you feel you need to consume to survive.
It proves that the Swedish model worked better than some countries which mandated masksAnd higher than much of Europe.
Is being only 4th worst supposed to prove something?

Sweden 'to start lockdowns' as it has world's 12th highest Covid-19 death rate
Health authorities in Sweden are poised to start introducing local lockdowns to stop a surge in new cases, it is claimed - although these will not be legally enforceablewww.mirror.co.uk
You're forgetting about the millions of people in the US who are currently on unemployment insurance. The US gave out ~$1200 one time for the past 7 months, or about $200 a month. It is not the gravy train you make it out to be.
Sweden's deaths per capita are lower than UK, Spain, Italy and Belgium
You're overlooking one thing. If by the end of this year Sweden's total deaths arent much over the 91,000 median number, then all those people who died from coronavirus were probably gonna die from natural causes anyways. I am going to revisit that statista site in January of 2021 to see if Sweden had drastically more deaths in 2020 then they usually have (which is between 90,500 and 91,000 annually).Sweden " recorded its highest tally of deaths in the first half of 2020 for 150 years, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday."
"... COVID-19 meant that deaths were some 10 percent higher than the average for the period over the last five years, the Statistics Office said. In April the number of deaths was almost 40% higher than average due to a surge in COVID-related fatalities.
"... The economy of Finland also outperformed its larger neighbour (=Sweden) in the second quarter, despite a tougher lockdown. Finland’s gross domestic product shrank around 5% against an 8.6% contraction in Sweden from the previous three-month period.

Regardless with the 40% increase in deaths in Sweden in April, that means Swedes are dying before their time relative to the average. You're overlooking one thing. So far they're on course to have about 4,000 more deaths, but their monthly death rate has fallen by quite a bit over the last 4 months, so it looks like they wont be much over 91,000.

And the lockdown countries?Regardless with the 40% increase in deaths in Sweden in April, that means Swedes are dying before their time relative to the average.
Sweden is on pace for about 95,000 deaths this year, more than 6000 above 2019.
