puberty blockers don't put trans at a competitive disadvantage...where the hell did you learn that? if anything, it just delays their development but it doesn't put them in the same level as biological females....have nothing against trans, they are individuals but they don't belong in female competitive sports, they should have their own category...
The article is ridiculous.
It starts out stating that transgirls have no advantage over cisgirls. These are children... everyone knows that girls may be stronger than prepubescent boys.
Then it argues that no trans athletes have qualified for the Olympics even though the Olympics have had trans-inclusive policies since 2004. So what? Trans are a fraction of a percent of the population.
It goes on to illustrate that testosterone is negligible in athletic performance and that 10% of women have high testosterone. So what... they're women, and the impact of testosterone occurs during puberty.
The author provides another non-argument stating that enforcing bans will be difficult because hermaphrodites exist so they have no clearcut team to play on.
Then he says that having a separate category for trans to compete in is unjust, even though it is both a just and viable solution. He says "separate but equal" doesn't work because women's sports show us that they receive less sponsorships LOL. That's the point... women receive fewer sponsorships because they cannot perform at the same physical level as men, and therefore their sports tend to be less exciting and draw significantly smaller audiences.
The author is Jack Turban . Is he trans?
ALL of human history and merely opening your eyes and observing the world tells you in no uncertain terms that men are SUPERIOR physical athletes compared to women. Do NOT mix the two.
