So you're saying Toronto is worse than Chicago, is that what you're saying?????
Yes. Thats been my experience.

The 401 at the 400 has to be the biggest cluster phuck in the history of traffic planning.

The suburbs is not Toronto now is it.
While you are technically correct, I would bet that the average person outside of Toronto would be including the suburbs when they are talking about "Toronto".

Rush hour on the loop in Chicago is the most frustrating driving experience you can have. London with all its narrow streets and time regulations makes it take hours to get across the city. Rush hour in most big cities starts at 2pm and ends at midnight. We have a couple of hours of congestion. We have it pretty good.

Oh yeah, I did that once trying to get from Ontario to Wisconsin. At least in Toronto you stay on one highway and if you need to exit, the majority of the time it will be on the right side of the highway. In Chicago you never knew whether you'd need to be on the left or the right side to make your exit.

Same as Montreal.

You have to exit the highway (Highway 20) to say on the Highway.

Who the hell thought that up?

And lastly, *From a twelve year old*

To me Toronto is dirty, polluted, smoggy, stinky, overcrowded, loud, the atmosphere is cold and rude, the crime is high, there are tons of freaks and psychos, tons of homeless people, no green grass, very little nature, extremely noisy, people shoot people instead of hunting animals for food, everything is 3 to 4 times more expensive than elsewhere, and nobody knows how to drive properly in the winter or in any season for that matter. When I go there all I want to do is leave because I dislike that environment immensely and it stresses me out, also there is always some crazy drunken wierdo around that usually ends up talking to you... It's not that I think all people in Toronto think they are better I dislike the city, its culture and its atmosphere and I cant see why anyone would like it and want to live there!

Well that just about sums it up.
First, what the hell does a 12 year old know about how people are supposed to drive in the winter?

2nd, hunting for food? Where the hell is he/she from? With few exceptions (such as some natives), hunting is for sport and the meat people bring back is just a bonus.

3rd, I wonder who this kid's parents are that they let them wander around the city where they get exposed to homeless weirdos, freaks and psychos and lets them talk to strangers enough to consider them rude (yet gets offended when "drunks talk to them).

4th, this kid must be rich and a financial wiz to be shopping and knowing the prices of "everything."

The writer is an idiot and so obviously not a 12 year old. I do agree with others that I would be suspicious of the motivation of anyone pretending to be a child.

In regards to the rest of Canada hating us ,it all comes down to two major issues:

1) Jealousy
2) People in Toronto thinking that Toronto's views are Canada's views. For example people (in Toronto) tend to think that Canada's views mirror Toronto's views and that we represent all of Canada. I know people downtown who are still in denial that we have a conservative government and can't fathom how Canadians can vote for a government that does not represent the true values of Canadians. Just think how arrogant and narrow-minded that statement sounds. No wonder why they "hate us"
