3 goals by Hagman on the power play and a career-high 5 points by Kaberle were minor factors.
Ha Ha Yea OK? You mean the Habs team that had to go to overtime against the powerhouse Islanders.
Gustavsson was in net last night...
Do you mean Toskala was the key because he didn't play?
Who were those guys last night. I caught some of the game and they were great.
Where did the other Leafs go? What did they do with the bodies?

Who cares they still suck. Still in last. MLSE are a bunch of idiots. Lets play for last place and get a good pick in the draft so we can give it to Boston, morons.

Wow tough crowd. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Dallas next. Competent goaltending is all they need. Not great goaltending just competent and I do believe that the monster is going to do just that. When all is said and done they will be a .500 team at the end of the year.
The Leafs sell out every game, over 18,000 seats, with sky high prices. Most expensive tickets in hockey ... anywhere.
They have LeafsTV which makes money.
The ACC is making money.
Maple Leaf Square will bring in some nice coin.
Raptors and TFC make money.
The Leafs are the most financially successful hockey team on planet earth.
MLSE is valued at 1.5 billion
Yes, definite idiots. I should be such an idiot.
Ya, but you're thinking like a business man. Oh ya, so are they, but some dat the goose may get really sick. The Leaf tickets are the most expensive in the NHL averaging $125 and that's too rich for me.

Toskala would have played just well enough to lose.
The defence as a whole played better but I still think they gave up the blue line too easily; when the other team's carrying the puck in, the Leaf defencemen would back up and gave too much room to the other team. They seemed like they're afraid getting beat so they didn't want to challenge the puck carrier.
Penalty killing must also get a lot better, they were bad last year and this year have shown no difference, so far anyway; hopefully with better goaltending from Gustavsson they can do better. It also helped last night when the Ducks took most of the stupid penalties.
I'd really like to see Burke accquire a good puck handling/play making center as they are awefully weak in that position. I never thought I'd say this, but Sundin would probably be a good fit right now, provided he hasn't totally lost his skills and speed.
