Really?
Blame the guy who got bit?
Please.
Do you blame Holyfield for getting his ear close to Tyson's mouth?
It was a bitch move by Grabovski.
Only things worse in hockey might be kicking someone.
Gotcha, punching someone in the head, much better than (allegedly) biting them.

Good to know.

I don't blame the people from Montreal for clinging to history which has not been repeated for quite some time and rubbing it in our faces. I would do the same to them if I could.

However, this thread reinforces the fundamental truth inherent in this rivalry: there is nothing more despicable than the Montreal Canadiens fan born and raised in Southern Ontario.

Loyalty is essential for true character. This rivalry lets us discover where the character lies in this neck of the woods.

Interesting...they got their asses handed to them and all they talk about is a possible bite. Can hardly blame Grabovski. Stuck between a linesman, another Montreal player and a melee. Then comes the captain of Canadiens from behind and sticks his hand in Grabovski's nose and mouth.

That's losers talking.

And he kept it there for an extended period of time. I'm pretty sure Grab couldn't breathe. Biting is better than suffocating.

Bonjour mesdames et messieurs.
La dernière fois que les Leafs ont gagné la Coupe Stanley était en 1967.
Ça fait déjà 40 ans … ça, c'est quelque chose!

The bite is ancient history. No suspension. Time to move on. Bring on the Flyers and Luke Schenn.
What bite? :D

Shanny didn't see anything that required a suspension.

Toronto Maple Laughs = Lack of Class

FROM THE TORONTO STAR:

" Sadly, the significance of Saturday's ceremony, whether because of bad messaging or short notice, seemed mostly lost on those who made the snowy trip to the Leafs-Senators match. The pre-game crowd was sparse; the current Maple Laughs players, who'd stayed in their dressing room for much of the pomp, only emerged to see the tail end of the motorcade - this after even the visiting Senators had taken to their bench to pay their respects.

And as for the ovation - it was friendly, but it was far from frenetic. On any given night the Kiss Cam gets a far more visceral reaction. The empty-net goal that capped Toronto’s eventual 3-0 win over Ottawa stirred plenty more fervour than the presence of those six Hall of Famers from another eon.

As Sports Illustrated writer Michael Farber tweeted from the press box as Keon and his teammates took the ice: "ACC is library quiet. 63 Leafs deserve better."

Farber, of course, is based in Montréal, where nos Habitants unfailingly treat matters of tradition with religious zeal and utmost skill. Already this year nos Habitants have wowed the national TV audience with a riveting torch-passing rite that amounted to a memorable opening night, no matter the quality of the post-lockout product. Where were you a month ago on opening night? Hiding after a Leafs win.

Where were you a couple of weeks ago when the Buds spanked your asses 6-0 ? Still in hiding.

You're the worst type of bandwagon fan , hide and disappear when your team is losing (basically all of last season) then selectively show up after a few lucky wins.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the stars aligned and Leafs and Habs meet in the playoffs .

You should rephrase that to read "Wouldn't it amazing if the Leafs made the playoffs?" Lot of games left but it sure looks promising!

Huh? It was an innocent inquiry.

No need to be a prick.

Well I guess you can't help it.
Says the kettle.

As if you did not know where Montreal was in the standings before you posted that comment.
