Okay, so if the Leafs win in regulation time, and the Islanders lose one of their remaining 2, then the Leafs are in....and the Islanders and Canadiens are out. If Montreal wins and the Islanders lose one, then Montreal is in. If the Leafs win in reg time and the Islanders win both their games, then the Islanders are in, and both Toronto and Montreal are out. But then Tampa could be out too, if they lose both their games....complicated or what.

That's interesting. Every other time that I've heard this golden oldie, it's the Leafs cap that hides an asshole. Just look at the denizens of the ACC.
You sound like a Canadiens fan?

More proof that the hat was on the correct fan in my version.

You're right dicky. Even if they do make the playoffs and go all the way.. People will always say that leaf team an example of a bad team that just got lucky at the right time. They'll be the example of the regular season not mattering.

That's sad folks.

See you at Koivu's anual golf tourney. It begins April 14 this year.
bring your jacket- it's still pretty much winter, ain't it? a little cold out there anyways...

i'm not so sure Sundin won't be there also... Islanders have a chance to pass both the Leafs and the CDNs tomorrow.

You're probably right, the Leafs still need some luck.

In the eyes of most critics, the 1967 Leafs did not even deserve to make the playoffs, let alone win the Cup.

Not much different to this year. (I still don't think they have a chance of beating the Sabres, though.)

At least it was the HABS who CHOKED.:D

I don't think the Leafs, Habs or Islanders deserve to make the playoffs. But I'm always happy when the Habs are out, at least we can sing to them Hey, hey, hey goodbye....:D

Where's Mr. Les Habitant now? Crying over his Montreal smoked meat?
