He only stopped 23 shots. But, it was his first game back. Glad to see the Leafs score more than 3 goals in a game. Lupul and Frattin should be back soon.

Reimer's first game back, cut him some slack. Back to back nights for the team and they found a way to rebound for a win, on the road again. So far this year they've rebounded nicely after a loss and avoided those crushing tailspins. Overall the lineup is deeper and more balanced.
Speaking of Lupul and Fratton (and maybe Gardiner down the road), where do you think they should play in the lineup? Who should come out when they come back presuming more injuries don't make the decision for Carlyle? Kadri and McCarther are getting on the scoreboard too frequently of late to mess with that combo - so where?

I wasn't necessarily criticizing him, but I noticed a trend of letting in high ones in this game. Obviously his performance was better before the layoff. He'd been pretty solid.Reimer's first game back, cut him some slack.
Leafs will do fine overall they are still in top 10..... Just fine.
but dammit...Phaneuf makes me shudder. Skates in cement. Loses the puck too often. Fail to battle at key times.

I liked him too. He had a good set of wheels, tough, a good teammate.a shame getting rid of mike brown, biggest heart on the team.
If I were Coach Carlye, I would start Scrivens against Ottawa and Reimer against Boston. I think Scrivens did fine last game against Ottawa even though he froze the puck but he wasn't the guy who lost the faceoff. Wish we were able to keep feisty Mike Brown for the Boston game in Boston.
