What do you think the Leafs will do with JVR when Lupul gets back ? He has developed quite the chemistry with Kessel .
I don't think he'll bump JVR. Can Lupul play center.

Hard to believe we are at the halfway mark already. Seem like only 7 weeks ago that the season started. Anybody want to make a Stanley Cup prediction? Looks like Chicago is unbeatable. Will a Canadian based team finally win the Cup (maybe Montreal?)?

In the summer they were talking about JVR as a centre man ... Is it just me or is Kessel an amazing passer ? Everyone seems to excel on his line maybe make him a centre .

They(Van Riemsdyk and Kessel) have cooled a bit lately so I would give Lupul one game one the third line then try him back with Kessel and Bozak.

I think that was always a pipe dream, would be nice if it worked, but to attempt to learn to play center while playing at the NHL level is difficult to say the least.

It will be a nice problem for Carlyle, what to do with ...
Lupul or Van Riemsdyk or Fratten or MacArthur .... and just to throw him in the mix I hear Colborne is on fire with the Marlies, and he is a center.

Tonight the Senators visit.
The Battle of Ontario resumes, despite what Capt Clown says, in whatever form each team and there fans hold it.
For me it is still a big game, TBO yes, but also a playoff rival, in that they are trying for the same playoff spots.

I hope the Leafs remember what happened last time they took the Senators too lightly. Dispite their injuries they are still an NHL team.

Go Leafs !

You're exactly right, Toronto did take Ottawa much too lightly.
I still think the Leafs should start Scrivens to-night against the Senators and Reimer tomorrow against the Bruins. Or, are they planning to start Reimer in both games.

Wow that guy was OUT ! He got tagged.
Report says he has a concussion. No kidding.
No matter how much one likes fighting, you never want to see that.

Leafs win !

Kessel scores ! I hope he is going to get going. Going to need him in the second half.
The whole team seemed to get nervous when the third Sens goal was scored.

That first fight was ugly.

Boston tonight.

Go Leafs !

Well, that's the problem isn't it. The more fighting there is, the more likely these and possibly other more serious injuries will happen.

I don't mind an occasional legitimate fight where two guys get caught up in the moment, but the staged fights by the same old enforcers is ridiculous.
