Ever since I was a child I always dreamed of one day having my own thread. I would see others with their own threads about tit, ass, asian etc. and knew that eventually I too would have my own thread.

How appropriate that the day after Martin Luther King day my dream becomes reality.

The link is too a pretty good approximation, except for the German accent (sounds like the Governor of California). The 2 is a vestigial part of the handle as described in "Darwin's Theory of Handle Evolution" and is silent.

The handle Lagavulin was already taken.

The handle Lagavulin1 was totally screwed up by myself when I created it, I was never able to validate it and use it, I have no idea what went wrong. Since I had no handle I could not PM a mod or Fred for assistance.

Lagavulin2 was born shortly afterwards, the "2" is silent.

The few bars that have tried to have a major selection of malt in TO have found it hard to do. The stonecutter, long since gone, was one of my favorites bar. The is a Italian restaurant just north of Sherway Gardens and the name escapes me for now, that has a really impressive one, but it's a serious restaurant with a small bar area, not for hanging in. It's food and wine cellar are also award winning. 'Allegro' seems to stick in my mind, but not sure.

Ah, the second day of my own thread.
Its actually quite spacious in here, I may need to retain a designer to organize things. But for the moment the coffee is on, dog has been fed, and there is the glow of warmth from the fireplace.
I see that the previous days photos have been removed, for some posts the links are altered and for others the links are completely gone, why is that ?
Does anyone have a good recipe for Welsh rabbit (sometimes called rarebit since there is no rabbit in it) ?
