Do you really feel that the USA is one of histories greatest empires?

I am really talking about all advanced countries in a position of power.

We are brilliant in most areas not infected by politics . We are in the dark ages of politics and education IMHO.

It is only a few of us that have the extremely brilliant capabilities to create such brilliant achievements the rest of us go along for the merry ride and the occasional blow job

Will the humanities go forward at top speed or decline as civilizations have done throughout history

It will depend on the creative brilliance, or lack of same , shown by our leaders

Oddly enough if you look at the majority of politicians, you see the largest majority of them come from legal backgrounds.
My point exactly. Few lawyers are truly brilliant IMHO and fuck even if they are, they know how to lawyer they know nothing of science, societies, human behavior etc

I saw a documentary on the truly brilliant

They can calculate PI faster than a computer ( amazingly, they do it by seeing colors in their head not by calculating the actual numbers ) while at the same time compose a complex musical score

A lawyer leading the human race to its future !

alive

To-day is the 46th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. He was 46 years old.

Were you alive in 1963?
Yes i was eleven and on my way home from school for lunch when my mom yelled at me to hurry to watch the whole thing happen on TV! I saved all the paper clippings for years!

What was the name of that special?

I missed the one called The Ruby Connection on the CD Discovery Channel.

I have a DVD of Beyond The Magic Bullet (even that bullet was more distorted than Commission Exhibit 399 or the so-called Magic Bullet). The ND documentary is called Inside The Target Car which I have not seen (so did you see that one?).

BOMB tries to recreate the Single Bullet Theory (ST) but it isn't comparable on a closer look.

When you talk about the blood pattern, did they re-create the wind on that fateful day too? I betcha they didn't.

If you look at the Z Film, the long coats of bystanders on the south side of Elm Street are blowing in a northwesterly direction (opposite of 'back and to the left'), yet debris also traveled in the opposite direction (IE, back and to the left) with such force that even the cycle cop thought he was hit.
Sorry JFK I forget the show but it was an hour special that aired last night just before the special on Ruby

They closed Daly and set up a replica car with actors at the same spot the Z film recorded the fatal bullet then the sharp shooter went to all possible locations to see where you could get a head shot IE grassy knoll, overpass

THEY THEN WENT TO AUSTRALIA TO THE ONE COMPANY THAT CAN CREATE AN ACCURATE HUMAN HEAD

They recreated the three positions that were possible for a head shot and shot three heads Only the shot from the sixth floor of the depository created a replica of the brain dispersal

Yes they recreated the wind with calculations of car speed

Their conclusion was certain - the fatal shot came from the sixth floor but that was there only conclusion

They said this was not possible to do until now because of inability to accurately recreate the human head and that they were writing history

The 2 shows were on last night on Discovery. The first was "Inside the Target Car" and the 2nd was "The Ruby Connection.

They said reason the cop on the motorcycle got hit with brain matter was because of the car driving into a 20ish MPH headwind and the car driving approx 7ish MPH, created a wind of approx 27 MPH which blew parts back onto the cop. They also concluded that if there was a shooter in the grassy knoll or from that side and using the same bullets Oswald used that the bullet would have exited JFK's skull and probably killed Jackie. Because she wasn't hurt they concluded JFK was not shot from that side.

They also showed the film of the test shot beside the Zapruder film and concluded that the pattern of brain matter splatter from was very similar in both.

The frontward brain stream was from a rear shot, but the blowout at the rear was from a frontal shot.

Did they consider what two simultaneous shots would end up doing? That is what Dr. Cyril Wecht, forensic pathologist, said could have happened.

Also, I'm not talking about the wind speed of the car, where brain matter blown upwards will fall back down on those behind it - I'm talking of the NATURAL wind blowing that fateful day as well, which would have prevented matter from falling down to the LEFT of the limo, not just straight back on the hood, etc.

If there was no northwesterly wind blowing during their simulation, than their test experiment is flawed.

Sounds like you saw 'Inside The Target Car' which was the second documentary by the same people that did 'Beyond The Magic Bullet'.
I think that was it

They set up a fan to recreate the wind

They only discussed one shot after he had already been shot and was lying in Jacky's arms. But that one shot recreated accurately the brain dispersal pattern. As far as another shot simultaneously contributing to dispersal, and thus changing everything, that never came up

But, fuck, what are the odds of two simultaneous shots creating the same pattern

JFK was the Greatest Fucker of the Twentieth Century. That is why they had to kill him.

Which cop did they say got hit with brain matter?
The cop on the left ( drivers side of car) He was also in the show, and he said his first reaction was basically WTF!..I think his term was "what the heck" as he was hit with matter.

Also

In the show"Inside the Target Car" They showed Black & White photos taken outside of Parkland Hospital of the limo JFK was in and a Secret Service cop standing beside the car with a bucket at his feet before or after he cleaned out a lot (not all) of the inside of the back seat. Why?
Basically he removed forensic evidence. Why?

Was it just simply they didn't want to show the world the result of their mishandling of protecting the President on their watch?

Was it just sloppiness?

Was it more than that...deliberately destroying evidence?

I think I saw this recreation. If I remember correctly, the sharpshooter barely managed 3 shots in 6 seconds (or something like that). Here is the problem. Oswald was not a sharpshooter and it is doubtful that Oswald had the skillset to duplicate what the real sharpshooter did.

Interesting to note that Richard Nixon was at Love Field when Kennedy arrived. He was about to board a flight out. Not sure there is any significance but certainly an interesting coincidence. Incredible how Kennedy and Nixon's lives intertwined.

I think it is also interesting not to look at the John F Kennedy assassination as an isolated incident but as a link in a chain:

Bay of Pigs, Assassination of Presidents of Iran, Congo and South Vietnam, Assassination of John F. Kennedy, attempted Assassination of Fidel Castro, Assassination of Martin Lurther King, Assassination of Robert Kennedy, Assassination of John Lennon, attempted Assassination of Ronald Reagan

Is there a link?

While in the Marines, Oswald was trained in the use of the M1 Garand rifle. Following that training, he was tested in December 1956, and obtained a score of 212, which was 2 points above the minimum for qualifications as a sharpshooter. In May 1959, on another range, Oswald scored 191, which was 1 point over the minimum for ranking as a marksman.[20]

A Marksmanship Badge is a military badge of the United States Army and United States Marine Corps which is presented to service members upon successful completion of a weapons qualification course. It is issued in the following three grades (highest first): Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman.

That documentary's goal was to 'prove' the Warren Commission view of the assassination, not to attempt to prove alternate scenarios.
I wouldn't say the documentary was as conclusive as they seemed to indicate but I thought it was quite well done and objective.

The Ruby documentary leaves no doubt to me that he was not a hired hitman.
The guy was in Western Union sending $25 to one of his strippers 4 minutes before he shot Oswald.
Oswald asked for a sweater before leaving and that delay could have very well cost him his life that day.

Oswald barely made the cut as a marksman (lowest grade). Also, wasn't he using some old WW II Italian carbine on November 22, 1963? In the recreation I saw, a real sharpshooter barely got off 3 shots in 6 seconds with that rifle and he didn't have that tree obscuring his view of the President's car.

He also made the second highest grade.
In any case, he was a pretty good shot and it's not hard for me to believe he could have done it.
It's certainly quite possible and suggesting that it couldn't have been him because he only obtained the second highest ranking seems ludicrous to me.
Plus Kennedy was not killed by the first and only shot so what's so hard to believe?
What tree are you talking about?
