NEW: Kamala Harris cracks open a beer on “The Late Show” with host Stephen Colbert which is set to air later this evening. The incident comes as some on the right have accused Harris of being an alcoholic. Harris reportedly joked about being drunk during the appearance, saying, "This is what happens when I drink beer" after she called Trump a "loser." Harris reportedly drank a Miller High Life out of a can. The Vice President was mocked by Saturday Night Live over the weekend for drinking alcohol. Both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden don’t drink alcohol. Harris apparently hopes to break that trend if she becomes president.

Beaver, besides you're obsessive need to deflect every time someone makes a valid point about Kamala Harris' campaign, Trump is WYSIWYG. The Democrats with the help of liberal media are running a You don't need to see what you get campaign. That's no way for a democracy or the media for that matter to function.
Wyatt once again your warped POV on what is and what is not a deflection!! Kamala Harris campaign has proven to take the right path, especially when they were down by double figures in the Opinion Polls when she took over the reigns from Biden. We know that the conservative media were slamming her for initially not taking interviews when her focus was to instead campaign from state to state. No doubt she was very energetic in that respect, and when the first debate came she came out with flying colours. The Polls have proven it. Now that she is going through several interviews what is your problem? The likes of Fox News is spreading some real dangerous and false propaganda especially with the likes of Hannity, Watters, Ingraham and Pirro. This is where real journalism is down in the dumps!!

I guess the problem here with CBS is we are not seeing her entire answers. I don't think that's a real interview being broadcasted. These are all opinions on my part, but I'm not the only one questioning CBS.

Both candidates tend not to be succinct. Trump can ramble on his answers. Harris tends to be too abstract to the point of opaque.

Hannity, Watters, Ingraham and Pirro are not journalists. They provide commentary.......biased, entertaining to some, but not journalists. I thought we have been through this before on TERB.

Incidentally, Walz went on Fox News Sunday. He was interviewed by Shannon Bream. I have seen Shannon Bream in the past. I don't think she tips her hand on how she feels about candidates. She is pretty much a straight news reporter/anchor. Of course, you can hate her because she works for Fox News.

That is just your take on Harris. Fox and other right wing media picks and chooses certain statements to take it out of context. I watched her whole interviews and she is very articulate in her take of her intentions if she becomes the next President. The whole interview was broadcast on CBS. Trump on the other hand has no substance whatsoever in most of the interview. Hannity had to feed him and practically put some words in his mouth.

Well to you these Fox Hosts are not journalists. But to most of the righties they are the bearers of the Gospel Truth. I did not watch the Walz interview. But that is your presumption that I "hate Shannon Bream". Have not watched her programs as she is not on their peak time. Maybe Fox should replace the likes of Watters with her if she is a straight reporter!!

JUST IN: Ron DeSantis shut down CNBC host that accused him of politicizing Hurricane Milton! THIS is how you handle the Fake News! DeSantis: “I didn't even know she was trying to reach me, but she has no role in this process… and I've been dealing with these storms in Florida under both Trump and Biden. Neither of them ever politicized it.” “What she's doing is she's trying to inject herself into this because of her political campaign.” “So as the governor here, who's leading this, I don't have time for those games. I don't care about her campaign.” “She doesn't understand what it means to respond to these natural disasters.”
