Translation: Tell me you are an angry outraged right winger, without telling me you are an angry outraged right winger. :ROFLMAO:
I agree. There comes a point where there is no longer any purpose in continuing to argue with some of these guys. It is no longer a good faith debate/discussion.

Are we seriously arguing whether women are capable of holding positions of power? Is it actually ok for a licensed clinical psychologist to engage in online fat shaming? It’s beyond ridiculous to argue over this; it just allows oneself to get dragged into their filth.

It’s always the same people, too. They’re the same ones who refer to Justin Trudeau as, “blackface” and “groper”. As soon as I see that kinda talk I automatically know that this is not a serious person.

Seriously?!.... Because some polygamous neolithic village has horny, angry dudes and they raid the other village over the hill which has available ladies?!

How is that even remotely related to 21st Century North America?!?!?!?!

🦍 🐸 😺 😧🙈:ROFLMAO::D;):unsure::geek:😺😼🙀
It isn't particularly relevant to 21st Century North America.
I'm just saying that when he says "you can see this in the anthropological literature" it is a more accurate statement than many he makes.

The proceedings between CPO and DocPee, linked.

It's good form from Peterson here to put up all the correspondence. (I am going to work from the assumption he isn't leaving things out.)
What's interesting about that is it really does make it look like the OCP is acting above board here.
Given what was submitted, the complaints they got, and their own matrix of action (Which he included) then it looks like the decision to give him a chance to remedy this before they take any drastic step like taking his license seems right in line with their standards and procedures.

I think Doc Pee basks in the self-assurance that his fan base will adopt his viewpoint that ANY attempt to censor his professional public speech is unacceptable and the only acceptable outcome is to allow him to say whatever tf he wants on any occasion he chooses.

So what appears to most as a genuine attempt by the CPO to enforce professional standards in an even-handed way will appear to Doc Pee's adherents as "tyranny", regardless of the objective facts.

An interesting facet of human behavior is when people who claim to love science ignore scientific data when it doesn't align with their personal beliefs or offends their sensibilities
It continues to astound me how people feel unsafe at how they interpret what Dr. Peterson is saying.

As a clinical psychologist he is just declaring what the clinical data is stating without any political bias.
Well, give a specific example?

The audio of the psychologist discussing the charges / complaints said that one of the problems w Doc Pee's social media presence is that he pretends to be an expert in shit he knows little or nothing about.

IMHO, the CPO has a fight on their hands. JP has the resources to fight this in court.

Even some law professors on the CBC website article that Frankfooter quoted upthread, agree that the CPO is over-reaching, if their trying to take away JP's license.

Why is JP forced to pay some greedy psychologists $225/hr, just to get some self serving left wing social media coaching? Even Howard Levitt agrees, that the CPO is totally wrong in how it's dealing with JP.

Jordan Peterson could shoot someone on Fifth Ave and his followers would still support him.

Exactly, he is a clinical psychologist who engages in social/political commentary that he has no expertise on, cherry picks and uses statistics in a reductive fashion to make conclusions. He goes "Data shows....", well, what data? How was it collected? When was it collected? What was the demographic of the respondents? There are so many questions, that no one supporting JP knows answers to. Yet, because his position is ideologically agreeable to them, they will believe any statistic he quotes. Its one giant mess of confirmation biases being passed off as "science".

Levitt is probably being paid $1,000 per hour to say anything that supports Peterson.

And my guess is CPO will fight it like crazy and will win it simply because counselling is one of the least onerous measures that professional organizations have in their arsenal when it comes to dealing with problematic members.

and a superior court judge looking at it didn’t become a judge by being a rebel with or without a cause

I've said this before. He is going to drag them along on a very bumpy road. Let's see if they have the stones for this.

His resources are immense. It's believed he's receiving behind the scenes support from people with deep pockets and reach. They realize what is at stake here. This isn't about his license at all.

This could very well be the hill he is prepared to die on to protect free speech from the Marxist leaning horde that is slowly proliferating in our learning institutions and governing bodies. Time to expose these parasites for who they are.

That's a strange way of describing the worthies who govern the psychologist profession and who undoubtedly have narry a Marxist bone in their collective bodies.

You may take issue as to over reach in the College's governance, but calling successful and responsible professionals "parasites" and a "Marxist leaning horde" is just silly.

Yet accurate.
If your definition of "Marxists" is "people who piss me off", I guess.

But most educated people define "Marxists" as people who believe in Marx and Marxist doctrine. I'm pretty sure those psychologists are pretty firmly into the profit motive and private enterprise. So they're not "Marxists", are they?

They're just people you don't like and calling them "Marxists" makes you feel more important and intelligent than calling them "assholes". Even if it's wrong.

What you say to that?

It's kind of interesting with Trudeau. Rebel News and True North were the only two media outlets, who covered the Peterson protest in front of the CPO last week. No mainstream media were there. Yet Trudeau keeps banning Rebel news from attending the election debates. Rebel news had to sue Trudeau in court to get permission to attend the election debates.

My point is, is that JT used his left wing power to ban RN from the debates. RN wound up winning in court, because RN has over 1.5 million you tube subscribers, and wound up crowd funding the legal fees.

My point is RN is a right wing news organization, who won't be bought off by JT. In other words, RN is not afraid to tell the other side of the story.

Pretty much how they make their money, huh?

What would Ezra and Faith do without their little niche gig?
