It will be 3-11 after tomorrow's loss to the Spurs. They've had some close heartbreaking losses, they lost the last 2 games by 1 point, lost in triple overtime to the Jazz. I see potential in this team, but they've dug themselves in such a huge hole they're very unlikely to make the playoffs this year.

Come on Raptors, fans, it's a long season. No one thought they'd get off to a good start with their sched, but I still believe they can start playing some good ball. Jonas looks like a keeper and Kyle Lowry is still a gem.

They are in most games, and there are 69 games left! Lots of time to right the ship.

At the start of the year, I thought they'd go 36-46 and fall just short of the playoffs.

After they lose to San Antonio today, they will be 3-11 and need to go 33-35 just to get to that! Not happening!

Know what be a good deal, though? Bargnani and Calderon for Pau Gasol. Calderon could back up Nash and maybe even start if Nash keeps getting injured, Bargnani could just shoot 3s getting tons of open looks with Howard and Kobe on the floor.

They can play the up-tempo D'Antoni style and Calderon could throw up tons of alley-oops to Howard.

As for the Raps a Gasol and Valanciunas front court with Lowry and DeRozan in the back court? Love it. Gasol has 3 good years left at least and we are going nowhere with Bargnani and Calderon so why not?

It'll never happen, but I still think it would make sense for both teams.

The really sad part is that for most of the losses that the Raptors has had, they easily could have gone the other way. Their lack of experience and a true all star keeps them from closing out or pulling out the close ones. For the most part, you can't argue that they do try hard and are in most of the games. One can only hope that as the season goes on they will learn and can win some of the close ones.

As I write this, they are about to head into OT with the Spurs. That's no small feat...

Another game, another loss. They played well and they played hard and took the Spurs to double overtime, so I can't really blame them for this loss. Valancuinas is such a hard worker and shows so much emotion, he's my favourite player on this team, what a great guy. Still, they're 3-11, they keep losing close games but if they played better during the course of games it wouldn't always come down to the last possession where they end up blowing it. Should Casey get fired? Should they make some trades? It's still too early, but if they keep this up Colangelo will likely pull the trigger in some way.

I think if Colangelo somehow get rid of Bargs and Calderon, Casey's coaching can only get better because the 2PG lineup hasn't worked, Bargs being allowed to play half assed and go 2 for 19 without any accountability is really old, and he might be forced to give PT to young players more so they can develop (like Ross and Ed Davis).

Keep Casey.

Get rid of Colangelo.

Blow up the team. Bargs is really a number 2 or 3 star not "THE MAN" he's not good enough defensivly or offensively to build a team around.

They really should have done it last year with the draft as it was. Andreas might have been worth it to a team with a high draft pick.

As for Jose I like him but a 2 pg set only makes sense ifyou have guys who can finish to dish to. You don't need 2 pgs which is why most teams don't use that kind of an offense.... sure it gets used but it's more of an adjustment rather than the goal of the team when the GM sits down with the coaches to construct a roster.

Actually keep BC...... it's not his fault that Bargs is playing worse than last year. What little we saw of him last year looked intriguing. I like the Lowry trade. I think Jonas was a good pick. Ed Davis is good too.

Maybe at this point you keep Bargs and Jose around and see if you can trade up in the draft.

JV can be a classic centre, Lowry is a starting PG, look for the best SF, PF or SG possible..... unless there is a sure thing C or PG that is better

Barg's has really gotta go. He has pussy foot every single game and he thinks he is beyond Casey's defense. Not only does he get into low points of 1-17 but bad defense on top of that, in a defensive oriented team... JV plays more D than him and that's sad for a 7 footer. We don't need another 3... Terrace Ross is supposed to fill that position. Someone's gotta slap that kid and set him straight.

You might want to look at the last 5 games, even with yesterday performance, he's averaged 20 pt, 5 rebounds, and 37 minutes. He may not block many shots , but how many did he redirect is never counted. Every one agrees he got off to a slow start, but is improving almost every day and not far off the team leaders in each category over the season.

What they should have done was trade Bargs for a Small Forward or Shooting Guard (Rudy Gay, O.J. Mayo, or even a risk in Tyreke Evans) and drafted Andre Drummond.

I just don't know. My instinct is to wait a little longer..maybe we'll know better after another 10 games or so.

There's only 2 guys on the Raptors that have heart and always consistently play hard, Valanciunas and Lowry. We see glimpses of heart from DeRozan but he's not consistent, we also see glimpses from Amir, Davis and sometimes Jose. The rest of the team is questionable, just get rid of Bargnani, he's the most inconsistent player ever, and he shows no emotion on the court. Jonas and Lowry make me proud to be a Raptors fan, I love their intensity, I haven't seen that much heart from any Raptor since the great Jerome Junkyard Dog Williams.
