Lol those two are thicker than thieves. Well, there we have it, a tad more clarity and the possibility of some coaching changes.

The Prez admitted that he knew Berrios would get pulled. Why was the GM so surprised? Are we supposed to believe that he was left out of the loop.

I wish someone would have asked him, with Berrios pitching lights, did he think it was the right decision to stick with pre-ordained game plan.

Too bad I was right. The Piece of Shap said nothing and nothing is going to change.

He talked about being more transparent but was totally opaque.

He talked about ultimately being the one responsible. What does that mine. What price is he paying for the failure of a team that fell way below expectations.

He and Atkins speak the same mumbo jumbo.
yup, was hoping you were going to be wrong but you hit the nail on the head. A lot of deflection and “process” talk.

The one mulligan he gets is he was right about a lot of other teams with bigger payrolls that did worse.

The best part was when announcing Atkins will be back he said “his body of work is undeniable”.

yeah it’s undeniable alright….

he’s now been here 7 years with a great payroll and hasn’t won a playoff game.

I love when he said that “nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes.” Too bad didn’t say that to AA when he had the chance.

I have lost respect for the Blue Jays organization after this entire ordeal.

Baseball is a funny game.

The Jays were fortunate to get the final wildcard spot and went out with a whimper. Their strength, starting pitching remained strong even for those two games against the Twins.

Imagine being an Oriole or Dodgers fan and seeing those 100 win seasons swept away in an instant. The Braves will be next to fall tonight.

Toronto played up to expectations whereas these three teams did not.

Maybe Toronto should consider moving Manoah to the Braves for one of their bats...

Wow!!! The top 4 teams in MLB with a total of 404 wins combined in the regular season can only muster 1 playoff win between them. Wow!!!!

I wish some one would ask Shapiro if with the undeniable GM and Manager, and the higher prices....will actual attendance go up in 2024 or down? Frankly, if attendance stays the same, then we ticket buyers are suckers.

I predict the Jays won't even make the play offs next year. The Yankees will, the Orioles will (although they really need an ace), and maybe the Rays.

Wow, I was away for two weeks and had to read 8 pages of this thread to catch up.

I feel and share in everyone's pain in here. I watched Shapiro's news conference and was very disappointed. Atkins needs to go immediately. Schneider needs to be gone too...or at least get an emergency spinal transplant.

Gibby would have stood up to the analytics department that’s for damn sure!

….. what we really should do is all invite Gibby to an Old Montreal steak dinner at GIBBYS.
lol, love both Gibbys.

My favourite moment from Bautista's Ring of Honour ceremony was watching the reception Gibby got when he came out.

Naw. Lol.

Like Phife from A Tribe Called Quest would say, “I keep my bases loaded like the New York Mets.”
