Sooo he is tall. Is he clueless of the situation for short guys or is he enjoying it & dosen't want to see short guys become average height & thus become real competition for female attention???? Esp. the good looking short guys. NOTICE how many ugly tall guys still get so much attention BUT a 5'10" good looking guy will get more attention than an ugly 6'3" guy in most situations. Maybe that causes Asterix some consern. He feels we should NOT regret staying short & ignored. WORKS perfectly for his game!
Getting a bit paranoid, aren't you? I don't like to see anyone get uneccessary surgery that could cause them problems later on. Breaking the bones in your legs, lengthening them out and putting it all back together again is not exactly a small deal.

By the way, Asterix revealed in an earlier thread that he is 6'4.5" and wears 37 inch inseam pants. His physical inseam is thus about 39 inches, which is a bit more than half of his height. So his legs are damn long too.
I had no idea you'd taken such an interest in me.

I remember it because I was heading towards your height with the roughly the same leg proportions, but I ended up stopping 1 inch short of your height. Now I'm regretting that I didn't go for one more half inch to be exactly 6'4, and am shopping around for half-inch lifts now.

You had to read the entire first page to figure that out? The original post was meant to ridicule the many, many recent ridiculous posts that I've been reading about short people and there problems.

No, .... Asterix I made such a bold statement BECAUSE without giving us particulars you make such dire warning. CLEARLY you have not read up on the internal L.L. method. OR perhaps you say this of all cosmentic surgery. WE all weigh the risks & benifits. There comes a time when a short guy may decide it is worth it rather than be at the bottom of the mating selection pile, cast off quietly as less than a man since he did not make the requisit 5'9"+. Make no mistake about it they are the social/sexual outcasts. Also vast amounts of studies show a negative bias towards short men. We do not have to look too far to see them being ridiculed & emasculated in the media. I for one do NOT want to remain a part of a group seen so clearly as unsexy, wimpy & weak. This surgery to become average height & never again be classified as " the short guy" is well worth it.

I removed the fractions but you get the idea - I don't think any of these guys could be considered unsexy, wimpy and weak.

If you see your height as a limitation to meeting women - or if you don't - you are right.

Oooooooooh! I think after all his never-ending discussions, Cute-Bald totally forgot about rich celebrities.

mexican: very wealthy &/or famous short guys only. No they did not & most recount they got 0 attention from women until they were rich or famous. I can tell you of your list half claim no attention till famous incl. Kurt B., Tom Cruise, Kurt C., Jason A., Mike Fox & Prince ( who by the way is 5' .... not sure what source you used but the height is wrong). Are you sooooo clueless to not see what is happening to the everyday short guy? Do you not hear & see the decisions women make. Go google " short men" & read up.

No I don't think I am clueless. These are famous people and therefore they have media attention - that is true. But they certainly were able to overcome something they could not control - their height - with something they could, develop talent etc. But you were complaining how short people are portrayed in the media - I was merely suggesting that the image you are pushing is not entirely true.

I work in healthcare and I regularily see people that have to overcome real problems. Your anger or narcissism or whatever it is, is your choice. It is the way you have decided to see the world. It does not have to be this way - and I have given examples of others who did differently.

Actually, I have only an average sized penis
I must have been given what you were shorted.

I never had a problem with vertically challenged folk until cute-bald pointed out, with all of his questionable statistics, how utterly useless short guys are. Now I hate them.

Then again maybe it's just little bald men with no confidence and self image issues that I dislike. Now I'z confuzzelled.

Whatever makes you happy. It sounds like you're plenty tall enough. Odd as it may sound I wouldn't mind being an inch shorter, it would make alot of things easier. I also have a hawk like nose that bugged me when I was younger. Now I think it suits me. We are who we are.

I was listening to NPR the other day, and they were talking about women in Asia who have surgery on their noses to make them larger. I forget the country, it might have been Japan, but imagine that. Complete opposite of what many women in the West do. We don't all have to look the same.

I admire your honesty. It is unusual, howevr, to find men with extremely low libidos on this board and many might not be as open about this handicap as you have been about your own atrophied sex drive..
