We're a pretty docile population. Promises about "The end is in sight" are getting old. If another summer is lost our leaders need to be held accountable. It's way too easy to see the populations of other countries returning to a more normal existence.

I have family/friends in different first world countries. They're all ahead of us on the vaccine rollout. I've decided to not have unrealistic expectations of our leaders because hopefully they're dealing with a once in a lifetime crisis but I can't escape one overriding fact. We just don't have a smart guy as our PM right now. Without that last name he might have been elected as an MP but there's no way anyone in leadership would have ever appointed him to a Cabinet member position.

Most Canadians are patient, but there are types who are always whining because they can't have things just the way they want them right now! It's all about them.
