He likes it here. He immigrated legally. He just wants the laws of the land to be enforced and is doing his civic duty to that end.
You don't get it that priests are assigned to parishes? He was sent to this church by gods rep. That is how it works. Yeah I am not that religious but this is how the church operates.

They 100% deserved it. If all they wanted to do is talk, why send an effinn goon squad to a CHURCH!! So disrespectful. They don't even understand the concept of sanctuary and churches? Idiots.
They were calm and actually de-escalated the situation but rest assured they will be back. They arrested a Pastor in Alberta for 3 or more weeks for not adhering to the rules. He will face their wrath and I won't feel sorry for him if they lock him up.

I would assume that the police were their to check/enforce public gathering bylaws. So it's the cops doing their civic duty and the pastor breaking the law.
If he was breaking the law why wasn't he arrested?

If cops catch me breaking the law I can just scream at them and they'll back down and leave me alone?

The pastor better hope there is never a real emergency at his church. The gestapo might not be so quick to show up.
They'd have to. It's not their civic duty to, it's in their job description.

If they don't do their job, it's our civic duty to ensure they get fired.

If all the people inside that church were protesting some shit, it would be allowed and police would be escorting them.
Gathering inside to celebrate a religious holiday - not allowed. Police come to escort you out!

Madness!

Not exactly the police cannot enter without a warrant

if all these lockdowns actually worked we wouldn't still be doing them 1 year later

I hope they come back with a warrant and arrest those covididiots. If not, I hope they enjoy killing people in their community.

I suggest you do some research before making comment like this. Don't believe everything the media, Doug ford, John tory, Theresa tam, Justin Trudeau tell you. These people have zero credibility and dont care about your health and safety.

Yes, they have to show up. But they can't put the public in danger by screaming through red lights, might be heavy traffic, tied up at other calls, on other side of town. Cops don't forget that shit.

If there is a complaint then yes they can enter without a warrant. How do you think all these parties in condos get broken up?

Very state centric view. How about: when standing up for your rights necessitates madness (as long as the reason is legit which in this case it is as the government is infringing on fundamental rights and freedoms) those who govern you have lost their right to do so.

yip, the church thinks its their god given right to do ever it wants cuz they know better and is above the health guidelines. Talk about selfish.
Under Criminal Code they have that right
Cops are actually guilty of a Criminal offence for trying to go into the church and stop services
