I don’t agree with calling the cops Nazis. That is over the top and uncalled out. He was fine just continuing to tell them to leave but while leaving he starts in with the name calling so that is where he lost me.

He likes it here. He immigrated legally. He just wants the laws of the land to be enforced and is doing his civic duty to that end.
Very state centric view. How about: when standing up for your rights necessitates madness (as long as the reason is legit which in this case it is as the government is infringing on fundamental rights and freedoms) those who govern you have lost their right to do so.
I would assume that the police were their to check/enforce public gathering bylaws. So it's the cops doing their civic duty and the pastor breaking the law.
I could be wrong but I believe those are rules arbitrarily imposed by the government and not bylaws or laws. I don't think there is a lot of clarity on it and that's why the officers couldn't enforce anything, had there been a law or bylaw they could arrest the guy for violating it.
I can see the headlines next week !!! 16 church goers infected with COVID 19( hopefully not). You can’t save stupid. Props to Calgary Police for not escalating it further, shouldn’t have gone over there with a goon squad tho. One dude in streets clothes to have a friendly chat would of been sufficient.

Goon squad!? They didn't look very intimidating to me. They always go in groups when these things are checked on especially when large groups are involved.
