I don't think ANY of Trump's indictments should be taken seriously. What are they? He hung on to some documents as souvenirs, just like every other President (and VP Biden) before him did? He didn't throw himself in front of Jan 6 protesters when Pelosi wouldn't staff the perimeter of the Capital properly? He vigorously pursued legal challenges to the election and met with those who had the authority to fully audit election complaints? These are joke indictments. And if you think I'm wrong, I guess after you're done persuading me, you've only got about 50 percent of Americans left to convince. Good luck!
First, he didn't hang onto documents like other presidents. The issue is he refused to give them back, and compounded this by lying like a cheap rug that he did. And he didn't store them in a secure location. And he obstructed (or attempted) the investigation. Other people (Biden, Pence) when they became aware they might have had classified documents contacted the government and cooperated with them. If Trump did that, you probably wouldn't have even known there was an issue.
As for the Pelosi bullshit, I think you could maybe talk about Trump's total lack of a response while the insurrection was going on. He was repeatedly asked to send in the national guard, but didn't move a muscle for many hours. But, again, he's not being charged with that, now is he.
The only joke here is the attempted right-wing spin on serious legal issues. You can huff and puff about how unfair the charges are, or how Trump should be spared, but he and his cohorts allegedly broke the law. They might get off. But the odds seem unlikely. And I also hate to break it to you, the number of Americans who agree with your warped view is much less than 50%.
Finally, I'll say this: It is Biden's wet dream to face Trump again in an election. Trump's record is abysmal. Biden's is not. Trump is toxic to many outside the MAGA crowd (and some wishy-washy GOPers). Biden will get a majority of the mushy middle of independents.
